About Scenic Flight Booker
An accredited Tourism Business, Scenic Flight Booker is owned and run by Christopher Hurst, a pilot himself and keen photographer with over 15 years in the aviation industry and several thousand hours of flying experience. Born and bred in South Canterbury, New Zealand, he worked and flew all over the South Island before moving to Western Australia in 2007. Since then he flew various aircraft from the humble Cessna 206 and 210, to the GA-8 Airvan, Piper Navajo, PAC750XL and B200 King-Air in every State in Australia tasked with various roles from Scenic Flying, Mining Transfers, Low-Level Geophysical Survey and Humanitarian Relief. In addition to flying he also worked in Aviation Operations and Marketing Management. During this time he set up, marketed and successfully ran a Scenic Flight operation in Western Australia for the company he worked for at the time, creating a broad international network of clients for the operation. Since leaving this role, he is now operating his own business, and is putting these years of experience to good use, finding tourists, tour operators and travel agents the best scenic flight solution to fit their needs and wants.
Scenic Flight Booker began life as an idea to bring together all the different scenic flights, be they Helicopter, Aeroplane or Balloon from across Australia and New Zealand into one place where the customer can search and find their perfect experience.
At Scenic Flight Booker we offer a different level of service than that of our major competitors. Where the big international booking firms make the operator answer all of the questions, and generally do most of the legwork for complex enquires, with our experience in Aviation, we know the aircraft, (and have personally flown many of them) we know the limitations, we understand the weight and balance, we have been to the locations, we understand the weather, and we can give qualified, experienced advice and answers to the customer directly. When it comes time to book, through our integration with the operator’s own booking system, we can book the flights, and get the confirmation, all without any administration from the operator at all, leaving them free to focus on the important job of offering a great Scenic Flight Experience!! And how much will it cost you as a customer?? Nothing at all! You pay the same price you would if you walked down to the airport and paid over the counter.
