Looking back, it's only fair to give honourable mentions to the venues that have hosted Stylish Kombi Tours and guests over the last 7 years. First up are the unforgettable Colin and Donelle at Tyler's Vineyard on Padbury Avenue, Millendon, in the Swan Valley. Tyler's always had a unique homely welcome and always provided lots of laughs in in a casual farmyard setting. They were a firm favourite with guests and those who came back for second tours always asked to go back there. Casual they may be, but their wines are fabulous and I'd definitely recommend a visit. Uniquely, they also print customised wine labels and tradition is that the spares are plastered to the walls and ceiling of the tasting room. When you visit - and you must - see how many konbis you can spot!

Well, that's it ; after more than 350 wine and other tours,150 weddings, 2 funerals and over 3000 guests I'm hanging up the driving gloves. it's been fun! I'll be selling the kombis and business and hopefully someone will take over where I left off. In the meantime I'll be raiding the archives and putting up a daily post of previous tours and weddings, starting at the beginning. I still have most photos and guest details other than the few I lost after a hard-drive failure, so if I put up a post without a name and it's you, let us know!

The breeze came in just in time for Saturday’s wedding and the lawn at Nikola Estate provided a lovely shady spot for Jess, Denton and guests.

Taking advantage of a cooler day to give this beauty a good wash and wax before tomorrow’s wedding in the Swan Valley. This will be my last one; after 6 great years I’m finally selling up and moving on.
