Kings Park Festival and Wireless Hill Wildflowers $55

We make our way directly to Kings Park for a delightful Club 55 morning tea. After your morning tea for some free time to enjoy the magnificent wildflower displays that make a visit to Kings Park so special during the month of September After your free time we will take a lovely scenic drive along the river via Nedlands, Dalkeith, Claremont, and Mosman Park before arriving at the Fremantle Markets where you will have free time to purchase your lunch and have a look around. Our final stop for the day will be Wireless Hill Park where your coach captain will take you on a guided walk to show you his favourite wildflower spots with abundant spider orchids and prolific kangaroo paws. You will also be given the full history of Wireless Hill and the part it has played in times gone by.

Tulips of Araluen Botanic Park $95

On arrival, we will have our traditional morning tea before free time to explore these magnificent gardens and the impressive displays of Tulips and many other wildflowers that make Araluen home. For lunch today we will visit the Old Narrogin Inn for a single course lunch where you will have a choice of grilled or battered fish and chips, bangers and garlic mash or chicken schnitzel with chips. After lunch, we visit Jadran Wines before slowly making our way home.

We make our way directly to York where you will enjoy morning tea alongside the Avon River. Afterwards, free time to have a look around this very historic town or just a wander across the suspension bridge or a visit to the Sock Factory. It’s such a wonderful time of year to see the brilliant yellow fields of canola. Hidden away east of York is Whitegum Farm, where you will enjoy a delicious two course roast and dessert in an amazing restaurant that is nestled amongst the fields and trees overlooking a huge farm dam. It forms part of what is the largest privately owned airport in WA. After lunch we make our way to the York Olive Farm with their very impressive everlastings. Here you can sample their products and maybe have one of their award-winning ice creams before we slowly make our way home.

We make our way directly to Noble Falls for our traditional Club 55 morning tea. Well, he said he would do it and he has fulfilled his ambition. Max has moved to a new property and has expanded his business with a new processing plant and many more Camels to add to his existing flock. Max will give you a talk on this new industry and show you his loving Camels and their cute babies. He is truly an inspirational man. He started with a dream to run his own farm. Diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa, a disease that has left Max almost totally blind, this dream seemed impossible to many, but not to Max. He had already mastered a lot of challenges in his life, competing in the Paralympics twice and completing a PhD in Agricultural Science, now he was ready for the next adventure. After our tour we make our way into Toodyay for some free time for lunch and to visit the Op Shops and the famous Christmas 360 Shop. For lunch you can choose to bring along a picnic lunch and enjoy on the banks of the Avon River in Duidgee Park or buy something from the award-winning Toodyay Bakery or enjoy a sit-down lunch in one of several pubs in town. After lunch we visit the historic Coorinja Winery for some wine tasting before slowly making our way home.

Romancing the Stone and Garden $90

When Tom Hogg moved to Lillian Road, Maida Vale in 2000, the half hectare property was a ‘jungle mess’. With no landscaping background, the self-taught stone mason transformed the block into a multi-award-winning garden and amphitheater called ‘Romancing the Stone’ and ‘Little Covent Garden’. Morning Tea is provided by Tom on arrival, then Tom will give a wonderful humorous and engaging tour. After our tour we make our way to the Mundaring Weir Hotel where you will have a choice of fish battered or grilled, BLT burger, garlic prawns with rice, salt and pepper squid or pulled pork nachos. This really is a fun and light hearted day out!! Free time to have a look around before doing some wine tasting at Jadran Wines. Meal selections to be advised when you make your reservation.

We head south stopping at Edenvale Homestead for our picnic morning tea and free time to check out the op shops and lolly shop before continuing south to Waroona. Your driver will take you on a tour of the town to show you some of the many very impressive murals. These are some of “the best” you will see anywhere in WA. Our journey now continues to our lunch venue the Wokalup Tavern. A Destination Like No Other – Since 1906. To the locals, the Wokalup is the “Woky” or the “Woky Tav”. The Wokalup is a tavern with a rich history and a lot of character. You will experience a true Aussie country pub that is run by real people who care about providing great food. For lunch you will have a choice of battered or grilled fish and chips, chicken schnitzel with gravy or chicken parmigiana followed by chefs’ choice for dessert. We travel to Wells Park where the wreck of the Kwinana is located for a traditional morning tea followed by a lovely scenic drive along the coast via the Point Peron, Shoalwater Bay, Penguin Island and Safety Bay before heading inland to Baldivis and the
Golden Ponds Reception Centre. Your group will enjoy a delightful 2 course Christmas lunch. You will then have some free time to wander the beautiful grounds before boarding the coach. We will then stop for some free time at the John Coles Garden Centre.

This morning we make our way up into the hills and the historic town of Jarrahdale. We will give you some very interesting commentary of this historic town which played a very important role in the development of the timber industry in WA Our journey continues onto Serpentine Dam where we will enjoy our morning tea amongst the friendly parrots. Learn about Bauxite mining as we pass through areas that are currently being mined. Now onto Pinjarra for an opportunity to visit the craft shops and Op Shops before making our way to Jetty’s for our Christmas celebrations. Nestled on the banks of the Murray River this is a special place where I’m sure you will enjoy both your lunch and the location.
