As we enjoy refreshments, they'll unravel the rich tapestry of this remarkable facility's history and its significant impact on Western Australia's development. Divided into two groups, we'll delve into the station's past with our insightful guides. Prepare to step through time as we explore the weathered halls of the original isolation hospital and stand within the sombre walls of Australia's oldest crematorium - each site a silent witness to countless stories. Our historical appetite sated; we'll venture to the Rockingham Foreshore where you will have free time to purchase your lunch before slowly making our way home.

Day 1. Departing Perth, we find a scenic location amongst the forests of the Perth Hills for our delightful morning tea. Our journey continues to Katanning where we will view four of the silo murals that were completed in 2017 and have some free time to purchase yourself some lunch. Our journey continues via the Great Southern farming communities of Tambellup and Cranbrook as we start to see the Stirling Ranges and Porongurups as we journey towards Mt Barker and our destination and accommodation for the next three nights the Ace Motel in Albany.

Day 2. After a hearty breakfast we start our day with a visit to Mt Clarence with it’s 360 degrees panoramic views over Albany and surrounds. Step back in time as we also visit the Historic Forts. See where the ANZAC fleet gathered and sailed from on their way to Gallipoli. This site is steeped in history and is a must see for people wishing to understand the history and connection that Albany had with the ANZACS and World War 1. Explore the acclaimed National Anzac Centre. We make our way into town for some free time to purchase some lunch and an opportunity to view the many shops and maybe purchase a souvenir or two. After lunch we make our way out to Frenchman's Bay and the Torndirrup National Park and visit the various sights in the area including the Wind Farm, The Gap and Natural Bridge, and Jimmy Newel’s Harbor.

Day 3 Our day begins early with the Anzac Day dawn service to remember the brave men and women who served Australia. Join in with the Gunfire breakfast for a gold coin donation. Also witness the moving Anzac Day march and ceremony. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the Chainsaw Sculpture and Mount Romance for some retail therapy.

Day 4. After a hearty breakfast we will start on our return journey back towards Perth. Travelling via Mt Barker, Kojonup, and Williams. We will stop for some free time in one of the many towns we pass through where you will have free time to purchase some lunch.

Today Glenn and the Club 55 coach visited The Hive Cafe at Little Eeden Farm, where the group enjoyed a delicious two-course lunch and an informative talk about their apiary. Everyone had free time to wander the beautiful farm, meet the resident peacocks and browse the on-site shop.

Our adventure begins in the historic town of Jarrahdale, where you'll be immersed in the rich heritage of this former timber settlement. A refreshing morning tea awaits at the picturesque Serpentine Dam. Here, you can relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings while enjoying our traditional Club 55 morning tea. As our journey continues, you'll be treated to fascinating commentary on the area's bauxite mining history, offering insights into the industry that shaped the region. Our route takes us via the impressive North Dandalup Dam, with magnificent views over the surrounding area. We continue winding through the state Jarrah Forest which provides a stunning backdrop. Begin your day with a traditional Club 55 morning tea at Bibra Lakes. We will then continue our drive south to the Old Coast Road Brewery, situated halfway between Mandurah and Bunbury. As we approach, we will meander through a charming olive grove before reaching the brewery and restaurant overlooking a lush green view. Here, you'll enjoy a single course lunch in the laid-back atmosphere. Choose from fish and chips, a burger, or chicken parmi for your meal. Day 1: We travel via the Southwest Highway, pausing along the way for our traditional morning tea. We continue south via Waroona, where you will see some very impressive murals and onto today’s highlight. Located in Dardanup approximately 15 minutes from Bunbury is a world class collection of working agricultural and industrial machinery from our pioneering past. Gary Brookes passion for collecting old machinery led to the establishment of the park. Steam / Diesel sawmills, engines, tractors, dozers, horse drawn equipment, military memorabilia and much more. The park is one of Australia’s finest collections of heritage items dedicated to our pioneers and the equipment they used to develop our state over the past 120 years. Whilst here we will enjoy our lunch including sandwiches, pies, pasties, and quiche. We will then continue our journey directly to the heart of Bunbury, the Lord Forrest Hotel. This afternoon you will have some free time to browse the well-known cafe strip and all the boutique shops of Bunbury or enjoy a cocktail or two in the Atrium beside the indoor swimming pool.

Day 2: Kickstart your day with a hearty breakfast at the historic Lord Forrest Hotel before embarking on a delightful 1.5-hour cruise through the stunning Bunbury waterways with Three Waters Cruises. As you savour your morning tea, keep an eye out for playful dolphins and a vibrant array of birdlife that call this bay home. Your knowledgeable captain will share fascinating insights as you glide past Bunbury’s impressive Grand Canals in the comfort of your luxury vessel. Enjoy panoramic views from the spacious indoor and outdoor seating areas while relishing the calm waters. After your cruise, you will have some free time in Bunbury to purchase your lunch before we head towards home. On our return journey, indulge in a tantalizing taste sensation at the well-known Harvey Cheese. Get ready for an amazing day along the coast as we travel north, to the end of the freeway. After seeing the new developments and infrastructure that is ever evolving, and a back-end view of Perth's sprawling urban landscape, our first stop is the breathtaking Yanchep Lagoon, just 45 minutes from the city. You'll enjoy a delightful Club 55 morning tea while taking in the lagoon's beautiful turquoise waters, separated from the deep Indian Ocean by a massive 400-meter reef. Continuing back along the coast we'll head south to the Mindarie Marina, where you'll have some free time to explore the Brewery, Cafe, Pub and/or outlets with plenty of time to purchase your own lunch and savour the gorgeous views. Our afternoon continues with a scenic coastal drive, and along the way we'll view the Ocean Reef Marina redevelopment, followed by a stop at the charming Hillary's Boat Harbour, with time to treat yourself to a delicious sweet from one of the many ice cream shops and explore the array of boutiques and stores.
