Night under the stars in Death Valley 🔥🔥🔥
Death Valley certainly didn't disappoint this week with temperatures soaring above 109 degree Fahrenheit (43 - 44C) at the peak of the day and still well in the high 30th at night fall, leading to a perfect barmy evening to chase the rising Milky Way over Zabriskie Point near Furnace Creek.
Techi notes: Nikon D850, focal lens 22mm (14-24mm), f:2.8, 20sec at 4000 ISO. This is a quick edit as we are travelling, looking forwards to process the rest of the series on the big screen.

🔥🔥🔥 Hamersley Gorge Swirl - Karijini National Park
Take a journey back in time to discover Western Australia’s second largest national park. Erosion has slowly carved this stunning red landscape out of rock that is over 2.5 billion years old. Swirls of rock sweep down through the gorge and waterfalls rush into tranquil pools, it is a breathtaking gorge, full of colour texture and reflections... one of my fav spot to shoot in the Pilbara!

Somewhere between here and there...

The colour palette of the Pilbara is just unreal, and the landscape here is pure and timeless. This is all the little thing in life that makes me happy!
I can't tell you exactly where this is as it is a protected area, and I I like to keep it that way, however there are so many other places worthwhile exploring around Newman, Karijini and Tom Price. This is day one of our Karijini 14-Day Photo Tour... 😎👍
