With over 15 years of experience in the travel industry, I have held diverse roles spanning Corporate Consulting, Airline Reservations and Ticketing, Business Development, and Customer Management. 🔹 WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT WORKING AT GLOBETROTTER?

I really enjoy the trust that Globetrotter immediately gives to their employees. This type of true empowerment is very rare in an organisation. You can see by the tenure of the staff and can feel the “vibe” in the office daily, which proves that it’s working very well. Seeing senior leaders living and breathing company values is so refreshing, it directly translates to employee satisfaction which flows onto the customer through positive interaction. It’s the secret sauce in the recipe for success!

🔹 WHAT IS YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE?

I have over 20 years’ experience in the travel industry and over 8 years in a corporate B2B environment, spanning 3 continents in a variety of roles (mostly sales…). I can converse successfully with all walks of life as a result. I’m just as comfortable in the boardroom presenting to a group of executives as I am in enjoying a cheeky pint with a prospective client on a Friday afternoon.

🔹 WHAT ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT OR INSPIRED BY?

I love being surprised by inspiration. It can strike when you least expect it to and can pass you by if you don’t keep your eyes and ears open.

🔹 WHAT IS YOUR TOP TRAVEL TIP?

Keep a good process when doing your expenses while traveling for work. I like to capture and log as I go. The last thing I want to do is go through a pile of receipts when back in the office!

I love the variety each day brings. The people I work with are extraordinary—they constantly surprise and delight me with their camaraderie, positive attitudes, professionalism, and a passion to succeed. It's been wonderful to witness the growth of the business and the development of our team.

🔹 WHAT IS YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE?

I have a strong background in hospitality management, having held senior management positions at two of Perth's premier 5-star hotels. In the travel industry, I've held positions such as National Account Manager for Woodside, and State and Regional Manager for Carlson Wagonlit Travel. I joined Globetrotter as CEO in 2010.

🔹 WHAT ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT OR INSPIRED BY?

I am inspired by people who are authentic and committed to doing what is right. I am motivated when I see people willing to take risks and strive to be their best. Personally, I am passionate about travel and love the thrill of exploring unfamiliar places and meeting diverse people.

Make sure your passport has at least six months of validity. Embrace every new experience, as you might not get the chance again, and there will always be more unique adventures waiting for you next time.

Today, the Globetrotter team got together to celebrate Christmas and wrap up an incredible year. It was a day filled with great food, plenty of laughs, and the chance to enjoy each other’s company.

We were delighted to welcome Quest Apartment Hotels for a visit to share some exciting news – they have planted 20 trees on behalf of Globetrotter Corporate Travel!

These trees have been planted along the Swan River at Mandoon Moitch (Guildford Meadows, part of Whiteman Park), just 15km from Perth CBD. This initiative is part of Quest's partnership with Hotels for Trees and contributes to restoring vital ecosystems, creating habitats for native animals like Carnaby’s Black Cockatoos, Possums, and Bandicoots, while honouring the cultural significance of the local Noongar people.

Adding to the festive cheer, team members from Quest Fremantle, Quest Midland, Quest Mounts Bay Road, and Quest Kings Park stopped by to spread some Christmas joy! 🎁

Our CEO, Fiona, and Head of Client Strategy, Felicity, recently returned from the CT Partners 20th Anniversary Conference at the beautiful Four Seasons Nam Hai in Hoi An, Vietnam.

Over three inspiring days, 100 delegates came together for productive business sessions, team building in Hoi An’s historic old town, and plenty of opportunities to strengthen connections across our industry. Highlights included a lively bingo night hosted by Singapore Airlines, a surprise tango performance, and a showcase of Vietnamese culinary delights.
