Alright guys we have had so many new enquiries but I have something exciting in the works and will consider taking new clients from November.

Hey Guys just a heads up when you are looking for opinions on migration agents and lawyers as often we can’t give our side due to confidentiality.

While customer service is important to us, our legal obligations are more important, particularly as we transfer to a law firm. We provide quality legal advice and strategy - we are not in retail or sales.

If you hear someone say they were in a mess or had a terrible agent, as many come to me and say. Always think there are three sides to every story - their side, the agent’s side and the truth.

The visa process is often the most stressful process many will go through. It is also extremely complex, particularly the matters we deal with. Many don’t understand what we are doing and most just trust us to get results. Those who lose faith or trust part way through develop their own interpretation of what actually happened and are also blind sided by agents who are more desperate for business and undercut those who invest in a quality office, team and operations.

When people don’t get an invite straight away they often panic. For those who trusted us and are now reeping the rewards with regular WA invite rounds thank you 🙏

If we have a conflict of interest, for example, with a new employer or partner, we are legally blocked from assisting you. This pi**es people off but again our legal obligations have to take priority

If someone wants to fake their work experience and we cease the process people get pi**ed off and say our service is terrible but we are now also liable.

If people are disrespectful to our staff we cease as we do not tolerate this and people get pi**ed off.

If people can’t get an appointment with us or we don’t have capacity to take them on they get pi**ed off.

Just a word of warning, our company upholds confidentiality so you don’t hear us saying they were a terrible client, actually there was a warrant out for their arrest, or they made up their work experience or actually don’t understand the process and have stopped a really good PR process and an agent has made a quick buck on sponsorship.

Most people who have been around the block will have the common sense to know but for new arrivals, not familiar with the visa process and obligations of agents and lawyers this may explain why so many people are pi**ed off and in “messes” right now👌💚

𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐀 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 🚨

🌟 There was a 𝐖𝐀 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 on Fri. We didn’t get a single invite as it was a small round with high points. 85 min. The good news is the focus was on our construction occupations and there wasnt an invite round in months so this one likely cleared out a lot of backlog and next round should be more promising. 🌟The one step most people can take to maximise prospects of an invite is the 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 (cue sighing 😂). I know nobody likes it and my clients speak English but don’t hate the player hate the game (or beat the game should I say).
🌟Our clients have been seeing excellent results using the My Modern English app as it is AI and helps with prep tests for the PTE test. I believe there is a free trial and we have a discount code for clients and details of tutors if you email us.
🌟 English tests are booking out months in advance so book early and practice in interim. If you phone each test centre sometimes they will get you in on a cancellation.
🌟 What is going on with 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬? - for once I have to say I have no idea and it is driving me crazy. I suspect the looming policy changes are affecting this.
🌟lodging a bvb for travel has sometimes promoted the WHV grant
🌟The old email address for the WHV team no longer works so little help expediting and many stuck overseas
🌟What is the lesson here - lodge onshore, well in advance and get a bvb if travelling if you want to ensure return.

Sneaky 189 invitation round today. We saw invites for Nurses, Electricians and Drainers, even with the base 65 points 🙌 Roll on new financial year as hopefully 189/190 invites will be back in business. I know everyone has been patiently waiting but I feel the new year will be much better particularly for construction trades 😊

Feedback from the department at the regional migration conference - A WA wide state labour agreement is in the pipeline 🙌 Basically this is amazing news for any offlist occupations not based in a DAMA area. We have experienced extensive delays on company specific labour agreements so this would be an amazing move

The budget - visa winners and losers (summary from the Australian Financial Review)
⭐️ Tradies - WINNERS. We have already seen 190s for tradies being granted in record time while others are processing years! This is to target the housing crisis. Yes we need tradies to come in to actually build the houses.
⭐️ Students - LOSERS. It is just getting harder and harder for international students with the financial threshold increasing, places decreasing and institutions undergoing strict monitoring
⭐️ Global Talent Visa - REBRAND. This visa has quietened after an initial flurry of invites upon launch. Excited to see a new visa to fill the gap for highly skilled applicants not captured under skilled migration.
⭐️Visa lottery for backpackers from Vietnam, China and India!

Hi All, I know a lot of people have been waiting for availability to open up and I can finally share the amazing news 😊

We have some key changes expected new financial year:
⭐️ visa fees generally increase (watch tonight’s budget)
⭐️ TSMIT of 70k base salary for sponsorship is due to increase with the new financial year (as if it wasn’t high enough for some); and
⭐️ Much speculation on the new 190 list for WA but we won’t assess this until we see the new list so if you can wait until July for assessment on this
⭐️ the changes to the sponsorship list are only proposed at this stage and there are always labour agreements for offlist occupations so don’t stress and we don’t expect implementation until towards the end of the year.

💇‍♀️💇 Right now consultations are taking place to decide which occupations should be on the 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 from December. This is your opportunity to argue that they stay on. Some occupations have been flagged for removal, such as as 𝐇𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐫 (𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐫) ❌
