Lots of stops from Ceduna to Port Augusta. All beautiful and interesting in their own rights. Fantastic views from Pildappa Rock and Wudinna Rock. Just as amazing as walking around the geological formations.
Day 8 has arrived and we are on route to Adelaide today.

Our Eyre Peninsula journey continued to Talia Caves, Murphy Haystacks, Streaky Bay, Penong, Fowlers Bay and Ceduna. Incredible scenery along the way. Our more active travellers took on the challenge up the sand dunes at Fowlers. Great fun and sooo picturesque. Tonight we are at the Ceduna Foreshore Hotel for a second night and Seafood evening meal.

How was your weekend? We were touring in Port Lincoln and Coffin Bay for the last four days. Fantastic activities, great scenery, excellent food. The Eyre Peninsula is a fabulous destination and Sarins Restaurant , Fumo 28 Oyster Bar and Seafood , The Line & Label Restaurant at Teakle Wines , Del Giorno's Cafe Restaurant and Oyster HQ Coffin Bay offered us amazing meals. Fresh, tasty and deliciously looking. A tour and tasting at the The Fresh Fish Place is a must, not to forget a Port Lincoln boat trip with Calypso Star Charters .

Our 12 Day Iconic Tasmania Tour has come to an end but not without a few last excitements. We explored the Tasman National Park on land and on water, where we were met by hundreds of dolphins and sea birds. What a sight! Passengers bought last minute souvenirs at the local chocolate shop in Port Arthur and then there was High Cheese for a late morning tea, with handmade cheeses and delicious 😋 handmade chocolates. It was a pleasure having you all on board and we wish you safe journey home.

Time is flying! 😱 We are already on Day 10 of our Iconic Tasmania Tour. Having so much fun exploring places and eating delicious food, who wants the tour to end? Nobody. Not even our guides. 😃😃
In the last couple of days we visited Bicheno and Freycinet National Park. Some took the challenge and walked to Wineglass Bay and others took the easier option with a walk at the Lighthouse. Oyster Bay and the Hazards certainly showed off their natural beauty.

DELICIOUUUUUS!! Cataract on Paterson
We have had a couple of very busy days travelling to Launceston via Sheffield, and Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm. Exploring Cataract Gorge, Seahorse World and Platypus House at Beauty Point, Beaconsfield, plus tastings at Turner Stillhouse in the Tamar Valley. Cataract on Paterson was a delicious finish to our time in Launceston. Maybe we should start having desserts for breakfast, then at least we get to try two desserts each. 😅😋

Stanley is such a cute little town in the north west of Tasmania. Historic, picturesque and home to lovely welcoming locals. The Nut provides amazing views and the easiest way up is certainly by chairlift. Some took up the challenge and walked making room un their bellies for dinner, especially with having had crayfish on the menu. 😃😋

Cradle Mountain's weather literally changes with the wind. One minute it rains and the next minute there is sunshine. Always recommended coming prepared and we sure all were. What an incredible view of Cradle Mountain, Dove Lake looked so pristine and cold 😄, and the air is just pure purity. Tasmanian Devils, Spotted-tailed Quoll and wombats just simply love it here and so do we.

Well, you cannot travel to Strahan unless you join a Gordon River Cruise. 😲 Wow, the reflections were pretty much perfect. 👌Beautiful untouched wilderness right here. Having spectacular views from the premier deck outside and inside from your comfy leather chair. The food and drinks kept coming all day long and we enjoyed the little onshore walks. What a terrific day. The evening Seafood Buffet and desserts were truly delicious. And since we cannot try all of it on one evening, we were booked in for Seafood Buffet on both nights in Strahan. Yumm, yumm. 😋😋

We had a very busy start to the year and are now touring in Tasmania. Our iconic 12 day journey starts in Hobart and we travel west to Queenstown. Stops on route include the beautiful Russell Falls, Tarraleah Hydro Lookout, the Wall in the Wilderness and the picturesque Lake St Clair. In Queenstown the Wilderness Railway Train is a must do experience. Time is flying and we would do allover again tomorrow. 😊

Wow, what a lightning display out at Leigh Creek last night. For all of the family members and friends following us here on Facebook, we have arrived safely at Wilpena Pound Resort. We had no power last night and cereal plus Vegemite sandwiches were served for dinner. When you are out here you have to be inventive and after a delicous lunch at the Prairie Hotel a cereal dinner is now something to remember. 😆 The adventure continued today with many roads in Outback SA and the Flinders flooded. Even the main road to Hawker was closed for a while. Tonight, we had a beautiful warm dinner at the resort and are looking forward to a sunny day filled with activities tomorrow.

We had two fabulous nights at Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary. Amazing views on the Ridgetop Tour, superb wildlife and flora, nightly stargazing and the sunrise for the early birds is so rewarding. The optional scenic flight is a real treat for those who love flying. Never boring on our trips. 😊😎

Coober Pedy is such a unique town and there is plenty to see and do. And shopping of course - beautiful opal, hard to go past it.

What a stunning colour display on our current Lake Eyre Channel Country Tour. Our flight path includes the Tirari Desert, Strzelecki Track, Lake Eyre, the Coongie Lakes, Goyder Lagoon, Outback stations, and of course a landing in Innamincka and overnight stay in Birdsville. After lunch we continue our road journey to Coober Pedy.

We had a great week in Tasmania catching up with our suppliers last week. A little fresh at times especially at Cradle Mountain, 7 degrees only. Looking forward to our next tour in February 2025. Only 4x spots left. departures

All great tours have to come to an end and this group flew out of Adelaide today. We had three wonderful days in the Flinders Ranges and four fantastic days on Kangaroo Island. Seven days of private touring at its best.

Our 6 Day Arkaroola Tour finished with a fabulous visit to the Nilpena Fossil Site. Truly fascinating seeing evidence of earth's earliest animal life. We had a very talented passenger on board who could put her Arkaroola Tour experience in a fabulous poem and we love to share it with you.
