Before heading to their build, the group went to a local orphanage that we’ve very much missed visiting over the last few years! We were glad to see the kids again and the students enjoyed quality time with them and shared plenty of laughs together!

They’ve done it!! Together and side by side with local builders and the family who will now enjoy this home ☺️ These amazing students braved the heat mixing and carrying cement, weaving, making reinforcement and brick laying. They learned and practiced the skills needed to perfection and uncovered resilience and determination they didn’t know they had 💪 we’re incredibly proud of them!!

Local builders will finish with the roof and levelling floors over the next week to make this home complete 👍

What a wholesome few days!! Rain, changing plans and creek crossings did not phase these Year 9 students as they embraced the adventure to be had in Bungonia National Park. We were blown away by all the positivity and encouragement we witnessed. Such an incredible group of young people!
Thank you to everyone from TIGS who made this program so special!
