LAST DAY OF SNOWFLAKES IN STANTHORPE 😭

If you are one of the lucky ones who got a ticket to the Bushies Breakfast we want to hear ALL about it! It’s the first time running this event and it’s one of our ways of giving back to the community with the local Lions Club not only being the chefs but the beneficiaries.

Pooles Rock Cellar Door Experience.

Ben Ean Cellar Door provides the unique opportunity to taste the world famous and iconic Australian red wine, Penfolds Grange on a daily basis.

Ben Ean is the only cellar door in the Hunter Valley and indeed NSW to offer this unique experience.

The Grange is served under a Coravin dispenser, keeping the wine fresh and showing Grange at its’ best. Grange is served in Riedel glassware with tasting notes provided by Peter Gago (the Penfolds chief winemaker).

This wonderful experience is available every day and is only $50 for a 50ml tasting of this piece of Australian wine history. Tasting fees are not redeemable on purchase.

Some exciting news. We have a new Permanent Cellar Door Manager, Jess, who will be taking over from next Saturday, the 1st of July!

A Chef and Sommelier by trade, Jess hails from the Hunter Valley where she has been working in the wine trade for the last 6 years, so we know our cellar door will be in capable hands🍷

Thanks for your patience and support the last 18 months and a huge thank you to Kylie, Jade Amanda and the team🍇

Award winning legendary winemaker Andy Williams remains on to turn our estate grown grapes into works of art, and Jess will be front and center in our Cellar Door from Fridays through to Mondays! 🤓

Some Fun Facts about Jess:

- A chef by trade, she started as a pastry chef back in Korea.
- Jess has worked for a two-hatted restaurant in Hunter as a sommelier.
- She's certified WSET level 3 and French wine scholar, currently tackling Italian wine scholar.
- Jess continuously studies wine, and is hoping one day she can get paid to drink wine! (Part owner Andrew Corrigan MW also thinks there's potential as a budding Master of Wine....!)
