These mangrove lined creeks never fail to impress - this mangrove forest has been here for over 10,000 years, it is home to a wide variety of fish and birds and other marine invertebrates. Local dolphins often cruise along the edge of the mangroves and we have , on the occasion, seen them within the creeks.

This is a friendly (or maybe not friendly if we got closer 😂) juvenile Decorator Crab. They attach seaweed and sponge to their backs for camouflage. The red claws give him away though!! 🦀 just one of the interesting facts you can learn from one of our marine biologists on our tour
