Thank you Milton for fixing us up with a new windscreen. All installed without having to leave camp in Windhoek. A sand storm in Luderitz left it pitted badly. It’s going to be nice to enjoy the view again…. Thank you!

Anyone for a little game of now you see me, now you don’t? Really enjoyed the wild tracks in Maputo National Park….
First time this has ever happened on one of our adventures. A capital city recovery! Thanks Maputo locals for helping drag the winch through the water for us.
This experience brought tears to my eyes. We were privileged to be part of an elephant collaring experience as part of our latest Conservation Adventure. This was in a community concession and coordinated by Elephants Alive who collar elephants to provide information on migration patterns as well as early warnings to villages to avoid animal-human conflict. This HUGE bull was around 6 tonnes and 35 years old. A beautiful male but he is a known culprit to plunder village crops and bring in other young bulls. So now they will have information on his movements too. We were there to see the darting, help with talking measurements and samples etc, all while the big fella snored his head off! Amazing! We were the first outsiders to see this happen in this community concession. #elephantsalive #selfdriveadventures #elephantconservation #wildwonderfulworld
