TOURING// Bunyeroo Gorge is iconic in the Flinders Ranges. A beautiful drive, superb scenery, nature at its best ✨. We had a fantastic day trip with friends staying with us recently. First things first, we drove from Pichi Richi Park to Quorn for a coffee ☕️ .fella . Then headed to Flinders Food Co in Hawker for some sustenance 🥧 before driving through Brachina Gorge where we saw a mother & baby Yellow-Footed Rock Wallaby 🥰. We also saw the significant Golden Spike marking the geological reference point for the Ediacaran Period. After that it was meandering through the very special Bunyeroo Valley with views like this 🙌🏼 before heading home via the Craddock Hotel for a refreshment 🍻. It was a big day out but so worth it & great memories made with mates.
Flinders Ranges touring is the best!

WARREN GORGE // We recently had a lovely day walking the Warren Gorge trail with friends visiting from Adelaide. It’s a moderate 5.2km walk along a creek bed, past red towering rocky cliffs, up a saddle to the ridge, looking at old gnarly yakkas & beautiful flowering native plants. Everyone loved it & at the end we enjoyed a ute back ploughman’s lunch. It was the perfect 1/2 day adventure from Pichi Richi Park.

THE DEVILS PEAK // Some of the best views of the region can be found at the top of The Devils Peak. Anyone who has climbed it will tell you it’s worth the shimmy & clawing 😳 at the end for this vantage point 🙌🏼. This fabulous photo was taken by the very talented Nikki of . Lucky for us she is very gentle & friendly and has been getting rave reviews from our guests which is lovely. With busy school holidays ahead, this dog is going to be very spoilt with tummy tickles.
