Just completed a 5 day cruise from Kingston to blanchtown with regular passengers. Akuna station cliffs, magnificent. Riverglen Gallery with Liz and Clint for afternoon tea. Straight through the navigation pass at lock 2. Rain stopped our campoven night but we still had other nights for camp-fires. Great trip and all departed Saturday from Blanchtown.

Our local koalas have the joey's out now and moving around a lot. If you see any who have moved into dangerous situations...ie.. near a road or in town call Jack or Vicki Gibb 0407420404. As the weather warms up, if you have koalas in your area please leave water under trees for them. If your container is wide enough you may be lucky enough to see them sitting in it. Remember to refresh it. From now until end Feb is when they are most vulnerable. Let's keep them safe.

Let's leave it a little bit longer to re-schedule your cruises. I hope we don't have a 2nd wave of the virus but on a boat is the last place you want to be if we do. Will start contacting you all, at the end of the month if everything is still going well.

We don't start cruising until Mid March, as you would have noticed, the weather is just a little too hot to enjoy to the fullest. Have spent some time on maintenance and renewing our survey, including a new front verandah. First half of the year is fully booked, so anyone thinking of cruising this year, give us a call soon. I have attached a few photos of late 2018 cruises... just so you dont forget us, during our break. Looking after a small koala who fell out of a tree, with dehydration. She is recovering fine and hope to release her next sat, if the weather does really cool down. Should put a photo but they are all on the phone and I'm on the computer at present. Next time.

Once again we had a wonderful cruise with the New Zealanders. Renmark to the Vic/SA border and back to Renmark.

Just got back from a 5 day upstream cruise, where we managed to cruise to the border and back to Renmark. The following photos can say more than I can about the fun we had. I should have had sound on. I think all our ribs are sore from laughing 😂. I just realised half the photos are still on my camera so this will be the first lot from our last cruise.

Hi, Summer is well and truly over and we are busy cruising again. For you customers that dont realise, our weather is dry and quite often over 40 in summer. Therefore we only cruise from March each year. I will add some photos of recent cruises, so you can see what we get up to, as soon as I download them onto the computer. See you soon

Some more photos of the last cruise with our passengers from New Zealand. We were lucky enough to have the Renmark Dinghy club doing an endurance competition, while we were near one of the creeks they were exiting, so I have included a few of those photos as well. After watching these boys racing, Jack took some of our passengers for a dinghy ride up the Amazon creek, for a bit of excitement.

We have just returned from a 5 day cruise with 12 great New Zealander's. John took this photo and sent it to me. Its too good not to share with you all. It was taken up a Bunyip Reach cliffs. We stayed there overnight with the campfire and campoven dessert. I will also share a couple of my photos of the same cruise but I will put them after this post, not to steal his thunder.

It is so beautiful on the river in Winter. The early morning mist laying around the water and the chance to sit around the campfire and enjoy the yarns. It is harder to get passengers to leave their homes in winter so we only have a couple of cruises for June/July. We have purposely not booked any cruises for August as this is our month for survey and maintenance. I will put a few photos of the last cruise with the Morphettvale probus club. Photo includes our visit to Tony Smith's Art gallery in lyrup for a look and afternoon tea, a walk to see an old steam engine at coongaleena and just some beautiful photos of nature at its best. Our next cruise is a Xmas in July and should be heaps of fun. We are just getting the menus finished now. The glazed ham, campoven turkey and we are even including a dinner of local farmed Murray Cod. You have to try this to believe how good it is. Yum.
