Robe Resort Architecturally-designed, wheel chair and elderly friendly, overlooking the magnificence of the Southern Ocean. The indoor heated spa is a must.

The house is double-glazed throughout, with r/c air conditioning and a magnificent wood combustion heater. Brand new home designed to be wheelchair, disabled and elderly friendly. The property has been Architecturally-designed to take advantage of superb views and natural sunlight. Stunning views include Glass Beach and Doorway Rock. Featuring 4 bedrooms with four King beds to sleep 8 guests. The

4 bedrooms can be set up with 2 Singles in each room (or in whatever configuration best suits your needs). The 3 stunning bathrooms include an ensuite which has twin vanity and twin showers. You can spend your time simply soaking in the stunning ocean views from the expansive living area while enjoying the combustion wood fire (or utilising the convenience of the fully ducted reverse cycle air conditioning), soaking (or exercising) in the swim spa, playing table tennis or cooking up a storm in the gorgeous fully equipped modern kitchen (which includes a separate wheel chair level preparation area and cook top). Or, you could walk across the road to explore Glass Beach and then take the walking trails to enjoy Robe's ocean frontage or Marina. "Robe Resort" boasts two large decks, one at the front of the house with uninterrupted ocean views and one at the rear (from where you can still see the views) which ensures year-round comfortable outdoor living where you can cook using the gas Weber 300Q barbecue. Other features include 3 widescreen TVs, CD and iPod player, books, board games, table tennis table (in the separate games room) and undercover parking for up to 4 cars. Robe Resort is completely wheelchair and elderly friendly with no stairs or steps. All bathrooms have nonslip flooring and stability rails, with one having a built-in shower seat and a full-sized bath. The indoor 8 person swim spa can provide a relaxing massage or a demanding swim. An electric chair lift for the swim spa is available on request to the property manager. This home has been architecturally designed with a focus on your pleasure, comfort and safety. Particular consideration has been given to as wide a range of disability needs as possible. This is a property you will want to return to again and again. Great weather to be in the garden. Sun and the faintest of breezes.

Trimmed back lots of dead “Old man’s beard” along the south fence and planted two hardy climbers - Hardenbergia(Happy Wanderer). Apparently they can withstand the very strong salt-rich winter and spring winds and should add a purple flower to that part of the garden.

Time will tell (hopeful, based on advice from Nigel Charman).

Very impressive sunset on 23 August 2024. I cannot remember seeing so much dappled red in the clouds here at Robe Resort.

Nearly Christmas 2023 and the back garden is full of greenery and flowers, attracting lots of birds and bees.

With all the rain we have had this spring, and with generally cool daytime temperatures,, the plants are just loving it here at the moment.

And after all the lightning and thunder last night, the sea is as passive as I've seen it in a while.

I've put together an EP collection of my four most recent original tracks on Sound Cloud to celebrate the end of 2023, which has been a very productive musical year for me.

These four tracks were composed in Adelaide and at Robe Resort in Robe, South Australia, and I hope they will lead me into an even more productive and successful year in 2024.

My second solo album called "Who Can See Tomorrow?" - 12 original instrumental and vocal tracks encouraging us to live in today so we can get the best from the rest of our lives, was released on Sound Cloud today, 18th October 2023.

I wrote all of the tracks while spending a cold and windy winter at Robe Resort. It was fantastic and also inspirational watching the waves coming from the Antarctic and breaking over Doorway Rock! Winter at Robe Resort is always amazing - the house was designed to be "bliss in all weather"!

Many of the album's images were taken at Robe (on the Limestone Coast of South Australia).

Lazy sea on a June day. The sea, low level clouds on the horizon and rain clouds above them give a feeling of sunset even though it is only around 3:30 in the afternoon.

Haven’t seen this effect before - wonderful!

Another wonderful sunset. It is autumn equinox and we can once again see the sun set into the sea from the front balcony at Robe Resort.

Look closely to see the vapour trail from a plane on its way to Perth.
