Sunset on the first day of the holidays.

Council spent yesterday afternoon and today repairing rain damage to the new section of road, so there is no longer any issue with access for vehicles.

School holidays are here and the start of our kayak season at Ganguddy-Dunns Swamp! We're all set up and looking forward to seeing you.

Good Morning Ganguddy guided kayak tour departs at 9:00am daily.

Kayak and stand-up paddle board hire available daily 8:30 - 5:00pm. No need to book for hire - just come and see us when you're ready to paddle. Tour bookings available online via our website.

Wow, what a night!

Thanks so much to everyone who joined us on the 'super' full moon kayak tour at Ganguddy-Dunns Swamp last night.

Perfect conditions, wonderful company and oh, that moon - illuminating the landscape and guiding us through the gorge.

We've discovered this morning why the truck cabin was was a little more disorderly than usual, and why we couldn't find our post tour snacks. Seems a sneaky possum climbed in and was locked in there for the duration of the tour.

Didn't see him get out - luckily we didn't bring him home with us, or have him make a sudden appearance on the way!

Kandos is abuzz with activity in preparation for Cementa24 on Thursday, and then this .... moon rise over Rocky this evening - spectacular!
'Super' full moon will be rising tomorrow night and we're excited that it will be lighting the way for our kayak tour at Ganguddy, 6:00 - 8:00pm.

Happy Solstice Everyone!

Hope you have a chance to check out the stunning full moon tonight too.

The good news on this side of the globe is that:

* we're getting closer to Spring
* only 2 more full moons until the next Full Moon Kayak Tour at Ganguddy!

Yes, that's right, while our season at Ganguddy-Dunns Swamp doesn't officially start until the September school holidays (Saturday 28th), the 'Super' Full Moon coinciding with the opening of the fabulous Cementa Festival in Kandos the week beforehand, is an opportunity not to be missed for visitors and locals alike.

We've scheduled a special 'Super' Full Moon Tour on Wednesday 18th September 2024. Bookings for that and all of our new season Ganguddy tours are available online via our website, or by contacting us.

Spectacular day and sunset at Ganguddy- Dunns Swamp today in the Wollemi National Park.

We're almost at the end of the season here - one week to go.

Last Full Moon kayak tour this Wednesday evening and Friday on my Mind nature paddle on Friday afternoon.

Hire available daily until 2:00pm on Sunday.

Hope to see you here this week for a last paddle before winter, otherwise look forward to seeing you in the September holidays.

Just two remaining dates for the 'Friday on my Mind' guided kayak Tour this season at Ganguddy-Dunns Swamp in the spectacular Wollemi National Park.

The tours will run on Friday 19th and Friday 26th April 2024, from 3:00 - 5:00pm.

This beautiful tour involves a leisurely paddle to the quieter, less explored upstream section of the Cudgegong River river and tributaries, focusing on nature and relaxation as we head into the weekend.

Enjoy the opportunity to unwind and reconnect with yourself and others, through reconnecting with the natural world. Duration 2hours. Cost $85 per person.
