NAIDOC Week 2024: The children participated in a group art activity, drawing and painting the rainbow serpent. Dot and stick painting and cooking wattle seed muffins.

This week the 2-3 room celebrated Holi festival. Holi festival is an Indian festival called a festival of colours that celebrates spring with powder colour. On the day of Holi, entire streets and towns are filled with people who throw coloured powder in the air.

Thank you to everyone that ordered hot cross buns from Missen Link Burgers. We raised $690 for the centre.

Our work on sustainability aims to empower adults and children to think and act in ways that promote sustainability and a healthy planet. we are gifting wet bags for the children's clothing, which will reduce the amount of plastic bags that end up in landfills.
