PLAYgroup is an informal session where mums, dads, grandparents, caregivers, children and babies meet up in a relaxed and friendly environment. Children have a safe place to play, have fun, make new friends. It offers connection and a sense of belonging to their community. Playgroup provides parents and carers with an opportunity to meet other adults, support each other, make friends and share ide

as and experiences. We encourage parents to spend quality time encouraging, helping, and playing with their children. Currently around Australia there are 103,000 families regularly participating in Playgroups, meeting in halls, neighbourhood centres, churches, private homes and parks. Why: We have so much fun at Sunny Sawtell PLAYgroup. Our calendar is packed with creative activities, outings, and great people.

A big thank you to for the generois donation which funded our playgroup TSHIRTS! We are so excited about the shirts and it seems our community is also as we have sold almost every one! If anyone missed out we will do another run soon! reach out and let me know if you’re interested!

Science week ✅ 🧪🍋

It was a beautiful day for playgroup today. We are so lucky to have such a great community at Sawtell Playgroup, with a beautiful history. A grandmother who now attends with her grandson, is the daughter of one of the founders of our little playgroup! 50+ years on. 😱 We have many grandparents attend each week and we love that!!!!
One of our great-grandparents donated a whole bag of lemons for our experiment today too. 🍋

A beautiful morning at the Botanic Gardens! Big thanks to our resident nature Dad for showing us some very cool things!

Meeting at the Coffs Harbour Botanic Gardens tomorrow at 9:30am for our bush excursion! We will be playing a “spot that” game!

We will meet inside the gates at the gardens (in front of water fountain) and at 9:45am we will make our way up to the sensory gardens and glass house. We will have our morning tea at the Japanese gardens. If you’re running late head up that way and you will find us ❤️

We are so excited and hope to see you there! 🍃
