Chuffed to receive this photo in the wee small hours Australian time, snapped in Houston TX.
Two members of the Airspeed family crossing paths in a random airport- as we do.
Pascal Cooney, (L) joined us in 2018 as an instructor and progressed onto Baron, C404 and Conquest. He is currently flying the Boeing B737 for American Airlines based in Bogata, Colombia. He has grown a slightly dodgy moustache. 🤔
Jake Hopkins (R) joined Airspeed Aviation in 2015 and flew all our aircraft, but he was the one who really got our C441 Conquest working. Jake has just started his Captain Line Training on the Airbus A320 for United.

Airspeed Aviation is a family-owned flight school and Charter airline based in Scone with offices in 4 regional cities. This year we are celebrating 15 years in business from a single pilot to a total of 15 staff.

We are seeking an administration manager to back up our CEO/Chief Pilot while he is out of the Scone office, and help us keep the administration and service delivery running smoothly.

Hours start at 20+ hours per week, 4-5 days but are flexible for the right person depending on your skill set and your appetite for learning and supporting the business.

This role will suit you if you:

Are a bit of a neat freak
Are happy to get things done because they need to get done
Are happy to work in a fast-paced dynamic business with lots of moving parts and high compliance standards
are able to work self-guided and alone while the boss is away
can help develop and implement new procedures to streamline our Admin & accounts processes
have a background in Admin and/or Accounts and/or Transport logistics; and
ideally, have an interest in safety management and Quality management processes

We have ongoing contracts in the mining sector and some great projects on the horizon for 2025 so we are growing the team to make for our best year ever.
