Beenleigh Cane Parade 2023

Rotary Club of Beenleigh

Join us for an afternoon of Family fun at the Beenleigh Cane Parade this Saturday 13th May at 2pm.

The parade will wander through the main streets of Beenleigh and end back at the Showgrounds. Bring your chairs, hats and cameras.

After the Parade finishes we would love to see everyone back at the Showgrounds for the awards ceremony followed by a fun filled festival with the following attractions:

Free rides for the kids.
Free face painting
Cupcake decorating
Food trucks
Stalls
Entertainment
Laser light show.

can you canoe ? Here is your chance to find out with a great afternoon on the river

Can you canoe? Come join us on Sunday the 12 June from 2 to 4 pm at the Logan River Parklands Boat Ramp.

This activity offers an enjoyable afternoon on the water where you’ll be introduced to the basics of canoeing. Learn how to manoeuvre a canoe and practice your new skills as we play games and journey along the river.

Please ensure you bring:

Hat and sunscreen
Water bottle (1L minimum)
Wear a lightweight long sleeve shirt (for sun protection) and enclosed shoes that can get wet
Spare clothes just in case!

Important information:

Please note this activity is not suitable for children under 13 years of age. Parent/Guardian supervision required.

The workshop is delivered by Journey Outdoors in Nature as part of the City of Logan's Environmental Events and Activities Program and the Logan River Vision.
