🎄CHRISTMAS TRADING HOURS 🎄

Our office will be closed for walk-ins for the remainder of the week leading into Christmas. We will still be working in the office until Friday the 23rd of December and will be available via phone and able to take any urgent appointments.

We will be closing the office between Christmas and New Year for a well deserved break. Our office will re-open on Tuesday the 3rd of January 2023 and we will be opening from 10am-3pm for this week.

We will still be recommending appointments to be made come 2023 as this is the easiest way for us to manage our workloads whilst working short staffed.

We wish all of our clients and the community a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope everyone is safe and spends quality time with family and friends. Here is hoping that 2023 brings better things!

There have been a few questions rolling in regarding the future of our store since the passing of our beautiful Penny, so we thought we will address it on here. Since taking over this business in 2018, Penny built an incredible working environment with a strong team focus. A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into this office (especially during COVID), and she was determined to survive knowing that travel would come back bigger and better than ever!

Helloworld Travel Singleton is her legacy, and we will continue in honour of her and everything she has built. We will continue to be locally owned and operated with Simon Nagle (Penny’s husband) taking on ownership of the business. Simon and Penny had previously owned this franchise together in the past when it was formerly Harvey World Travel and Simon and his family have many years’ experience within the travel industry. With the continued support of Helloworld Travel Head Office and other Helloworld Travel franchises we will be here and servicing our community, like we always have.

You may see some familiar faces in-store alongside Holly and Amelia in the likes of Aleesha and Erin as they are helping us out around other employment, and we are so thankful for them being here to help and support us. We cannot be more thankful for the team that we have, and the support of our clients and the wider community. We understand that for some clients it might be hard to come in-store right now, but please don’t be shy to stick your head in and say hello!

We are missing one very big, very beautiful smile that lit up the room in-store, as well as one cracking consultant, but we feel her here around us every day.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Penny. An incredible boss, mentor and most of all a very dear friend.

Pen had such a zest for life and her passion for travel was contagious. To have worked alongside such a knowledgable, charismatic and brilliant businesswoman has been an absolute honour.

Her absence will be felt deeply amongst our team as well as in the wider community. She will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we will keep her dream alive.

‼️IMPORTANT‼️

Our office will be open via appointment only for the next 2 weeks. Amelia will be going away on educational leave from 15-24 October, which will be leaving Holly in the office alone.

We need to be able to structure our days and workload this week to make things a little easier for the following week.

We know that this might become frustrating for some with our hours chopping and changing but we promise we are doing the best we can. This is going to be the new normal for a little while until we can get some consistency.

To our valued clients,

You may have seen that our hours have varied over the last couple of months, and we have had to incorporate days where we open by appointment only or we close for administration.

Given the situation with our owner Penny and her health, our hours may continue to vary moving forward. As we are now operating as a team of two consultants, there are going to be times where the office is open by appointment only or alternatively closed for administration so we can better manage our workload and allocate time to our clients moving forward.

We will try and accommodate everyone the best we can and limit these days in-store, but unfortunately given the circumstances this will be unavoidable at times.

‼️ IMPORTANT NOTICE ‼️

We will be closing our office for administration days for the remainder of this week.

Due to illness within our team we have been operating short staffed for some time and with the high demand for travel this has caused a backlog with our quotations. We are trying to get back on top of our workload so that we can provide better turnaround times for quotes and service existing bookings.

Our phone lines will be switched over during this time, so if you do call please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
