We love hearing the feedback and reflections from our volunteers and partnering organisations.
Big thanks to J Kegel Sophie for your feedback from our latest trip to India as we greatly appreciate it and blessed that you were a part of the team.
"I honestly don't even think I have processed it all properly yet. People keep asking me, "how was India?" And I tend to give the same report...
Inspiring, different, culturally rich, sad, empowering, unforgettable...
We went to places white people don't normally go (with the permission of the local partnered foundation .projects ), we danced with the "untouchables", we played cricket with kids in the oncology ward & we laughed with the women who live their lives in refuge shelters.
It was real. Very real. But so was the joy.
Someone asked during the trip "is it all worth it, these little bursts of joy?" And seeing how, at each place, trip organiser Tim Timbadim Webster was welcomed with warm smiles and open arms, I could see that yes, it has made a difference, all these years he has come, and will keep coming.
π© Off to Humanitarian Clowns Inc for making this difference, for your ongoing passion & dedication, and that of Emma, Giri & all the others from Seb's Projects.
People who go out every night to feed the homeless, regularly traverse rough terrain to visit tribal villages, sometimes even sacrificing their personal lives to make change.
It is truly inspiring & I feel honoured to have seen just a glimpse of what it's all about. It will stay with me forever π"
