CASSOWARY ART TRAIL LAUNCH

Part of the Kuranda Colour Fest on Saturday 8 October in Centenary Park is the official launch of the Cassowary Art Trail! Come along and see the three life-sized cassowary statues, painted with unique designs by local artists George Riley, Rebecca Koller, and Connie Rovina. They are AMAZING!!

"Name the Cassowary" competition – there is still one cassowary who needs a name! Put your entry in to name Rebecca Koller's painted cassowary.

Lots of other cassowary activities ...

10am–2pm – Cassowary Craft Activities for kids, winners of School Children's Art & Craft competition display, plus lots of community stalls.
