In early 2025 P&O Cruises Australia brand will be sunset and its operations integrated into sister line, Carnival Cruise Line.

As the P&O Cruises Australia brand retires early next year, the Pacific Encounter and Pacific Adventure ships will be rebranded and operated by Carnival Cruise Line brand. The ships will be named Carnival Encounter and Carnival Adventure.

Pacific Explorer will exit the fleet in February of 2025. Current itineraries will operate business as usual.

At this stage, we are waiting on further details. If you are currently booked on a sailing that is impacted by this change, once we have further details and information, our consultants will be in touch.

While we are sad to see this beloved cruise brand go, we are excited about the new era of Australian cruising.

🌷Day 7 on the Emerald Dawn 🌷

Today I had the absolute pleasure of travelling to the world famous Keukenhof Gardens, about 40 mins outside of Amsterdam.

This was an absolute highlight, the tulips were breathtaking. Despite the heavy downpour, the Tulips we colourful, bright and came in so many shapes and sizes.

This afternoon we enjoyed Amsterdam at our leisure. I opted to enjoy another canal cruise! I have now done 4, and can say each one has been different!

The weather was very different from this morning, with stunning blue skies, the perfect end to what has been an amazing journey with Emerald Cruises 🌷

I am off to Rome tomorrow for a few nights before boarding the Brand New Sun Princess! ☀️

🌷 Day 6 on the Emerald Dawn 🌷

Today we had a relaxed start with a morning of cruising. After an informative lecture about life in the Netherlands from Cruise Director Nina and lunch, we arrived in Nijmegen.

We drove from Nijmegen to Arnhem. We visited the Airborne Museum and toured through, followed by a visit to the Airborne War Ceremony.

Of course enjoyed another wonderful meal on board! Off to the world famous Keukenhof Gardens tomorrow 😍🌷

🌷 Day 5 on the Emerald Dawn 🌷

Today we arrived into Antwerp, Belgium. Probably by favourite place so far (but I say that everyday!)

We enjoyed a walking tour with an expert guide for a couple of hours this morning, which was informative and a great way to see the city! There was a little surprise in store for us, as during the walking tour we were treated to a bag of local Belgian chocolates!

Of course it wouldn’t be a trip to Belgium without tasting a local beer.

Back to The Netherlands tomorrow!
