Briar Rose Cottages are three quaint cottages located in the beautiful country town of Stanthorpe, QLD.

- The Silky Oak Cottage
- The Mulberry Cottage
- The Cedar Cottage

Locally owned and operated by Debbie Perkins. Mulberry Cottage is a two bedroom cottage and sleeps four guests, Silky Oak Cottage is a one bedroom cottage and sleeps two guests and Cedar Cottage is a three bedroom cottage an

d sleeps six guests. All cottages are fully self contained with modern kitchens; a stove, oven, microwave and a range of cooking utensils and equipment. All cottages are air conditioned and also offer a wood fire with all wood supplied as well as an outdoor fire pit for all guests to enjoy! Briar Rose Cottages are located just 1km from the town centre and picturesque Quart Pot creek and walkways. Briar Rose Cottages are owned and operated by Debbie Perkins. Debbie is a born and bred local who is passionate about making your visit to Stanthorpe a happy, comfortable and memorable one. Debbie is an AirBnb Superhost and the cottages have been awarded Trip Advisors prestigious Travellers Choice Award in 2020 and 2021 ranking them one of the top 10 accommodation spots worldwide based on guest reviews!!

Our Story

Briar Rose Cottages consists of three quaint cottages on the edge of the Stanthorpe township in the Granite Belt Region. The front cottage, ‘Mulberry Cottage’ is a two bedroom cottage and sleeps 4, the back cottage, ‘ Silky Oak Cottage’, is a one bedroom cottage and sleeps 2. Our newest acquisition ‘Cedar Cottage’ is a three bedroom cottage and sleeps 6 guests and is right next door! All cottages are fully self contained with modern kitchens; a full stove, oven, microwave, fridge and a range of cooking utensils and equipment. All cottages also offer a wood heater with all wood supplied. Briar Rose Cottages have all been fully renovated and feature new furniture and fixtures. ‘Mulberry Cottage’ boasts an beautifully styled, open plan living area and large front verandah. ‘ Silky Oak Cottage’ offers a gorgeous spiral staircase to a loft bedroom and a large bathroom with bathtub. ‘Cedar Cottage’ has an airy, bright open plan living area with a sunny front porch and large back deck and back yard with orchard views. There is a shared outdoor fire pit area which is the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening and chat about your days adventures! Briar Rose Cottages are located just 1km from the town centre, cafes and shops and a short stroll to Quart Pot Creek’s gorgeous walking track. The cottages are the perfect location from which to explore the local wineries and attractions.
