Our first full day on Norfolk Island. 🌲
We started with breakfast at our beautiful accommodation Castaway. Then off to explore, getting orientated with Norfolk Island through a Half Day Island tour. We visited the historic areas of Kingston, Cascade and Longridge. Took in incredible views of beaches and pinetrees at several different lookouts. Stopped for tea and scones. Visited the renowned Melanesian Chapel and got to know a little more about life here, the laws, government and unique lifestyle. 🙌

Another fabulous day including an afternoon stop at Cook and an evening stop for drinks and live music at Rawlinna. Both the cuisine and the service onboard the Indian Pacific has been exceptional….as good as any 5 to 6 star rated cruise ships I’ve experienced. If you’ve ever thought about doing this epic journey, don’t think about it, just do it. It doesn’t disappoint!

Kayla began her journey in the travel industry as a 16 year old when she completed 2 weeks of work experience over 11 years ago. We were so impressed with Kayla’s work ethic and customer service skills that we offered her a full time position which she began as soon as she left school. Kayla was an integral part of the team for 5 years before her passion for travel took her to Europe where she worked as a tour guide for Busabout. She then moved to New Zealand where she lived and worked for 4 years. And now Kayla is BACK!
