Held in school holidays, Wirraway Homestead Musters are Christian adventure camps where kids aged 10 to 15 are encouraged to build new relationships, grow in Christ and have a great time. Volunteer driver - Community Food Hub:
Volunteer drivers are needed to support the collection and delivery of donated foods and goods for the West Care Centre Community Food Hub, located in the CBD.
Volunteer fix a bike assistant:
Located at the West Care Centre in the City, the Volunteer Fix a Bike Assistant will coordinate the “Fix a bike, keep a bike” program that is run weekly. In this program, community members can apply to Fix a Bike, after which, they will keep the bike. They can also choose to Fix a Bike for Someone else.
Volunteer Community Development Assistant:
The Volunteer Community Development Assistant builds relationships with members of Baptist Care SA’s Inner City Community (including clients, staff, volunteers, and other stakeholders) to develop and understand the existing assets in the community.

Floods deliver tough times to campsites along the Murray River
Our team from Mylor Adventure Camp and Wirraway Homestead went to Ankara Youth Camp, part of the Christian Venues Association network, on Friday 25 November to help pack up the campsite. Famous for bringing adventure and fun to schools, this beautiful campsite is unfortunately expected to be under water for the next few weeks due to rising flood levels.
It was great to be able to lend a hand, along with our friends from Uniting Venues SA, and our thoughts and prayers are with Joy & Warren Richards and the Walker Flat community for the tough few months ahead.
👋 Meet Hope 👋
Hope originally came from the RSPCA as a very sweet 2 year old and Wirraway became her carer for a year before it was decided to adopt her.
She is now a 7 year old, dark brown thoroughbred mare. She loves food but we keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn’t overdo the sugar! 🐎
