Yesterday our Red Centre group spent the day at Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta (the Olga's), a great way to spend their last full day of sightseeing - they are all homeward bound today! Thanks to Michael Brauman for these photos of our coaches at the 'Rock'.

We have three coaches in Canberra this week and our Drivers, Brad (Organ's Coaches), Jake (Sunbury Coaches) and Sam (Sunbury Coaches) are doing it tough - they are being forced to eat steak, prawn & chorizo linguine, freshly made pizza, salt'n'pepper calamari and many other horrible foods 😜🤣 Thank you guys, you are doing a great job!

Very early Saturday morning saw 4 coaches and 3 trailers roll out of our Sunbury depot, bound for the Red Centre. Just a small school group of 131 students, 15 school staff, 4 cooks/kitchen staff & obviously 4 drivers onboard. Happy travels everyone 😊 Photo's supplied by our Managing Director, Matt Baird, who came in bright and early to see them off!

Our group spent the morning up at Mt Buffalo, with their guide David (also an ex Vietnam Veteran) before coming down the mount for lunch at the Punka (Porepunkah) Pub.

It's a lot drier than I thought it would be but apparently they haven't had rain for a while!

Thanks again to David Goodwin for the photos 😊

Coach Tours of Australia is privileged to host a group of Vietnam Veterans in Bright/Beechworth this week on their 6 Day Highland Fling Tour. This morning was spent in Harrietville, visiting the Tronoh Dredge Hole, the Harrietville Museum and then the Harrietville Bakery for some yummy lunch! So far the weather has been fantastic for them. Thank you to our Coach Driver, David Goodwin for beautiful photos - I'm not envious at all 😁

Day 3 of our Speciality Group - Another great day. After the sunrise at the lookout, we all went back for a hearty brekky. Then a little cooks tour of Apollo Bay, on way to the Catholic church to enjoy a short mass. Popped in and looked at the 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge on way to Port Campbell for lunch. Yummy! Stopped at Bay of Islands on the way to Portland. A longer day but everyone enjoyed the coastline and the Otway Forest.

Thank you Michael Archer for the daily update and photos.

We are out and about with our groups this morning - thanks to Craig Wilson-Todd for the photo.

Our school like to finish their camp to Canberra, with a morning at the National Zoo & Aquarium, followed by a bike ride around Lake Burley Griffin. It's a great little zoo and well worth the visit, if you are ever in Canberra!
