It's the little things that will really make your stay one that you won't forget quickly and be eager to repeat as soon as possible. The evenings spent relaxing on the outdoor lounge on the balcony, listening to the sound of crashing waves in the quiet of the night. The afternoons sitting at the bar, people watching, as your favourite tunes play out gently on the JBL. The mornings spread out in fr
ont of the window in the dining room as you sip your Nespresso morning coffee admiring the early morning joggers and cyclists. Perhaps you decide to join them and take a run or ride along the beautiful boardwalk, pausing momentarily at the top to admire the view and maybe even catch a glimpse of some migrating whales, stingrays or sea turtles. If you really want to challenge yourself take the short drive to Mount Coolum and conquer the mountain. You'll be spoilt for choice when you start to feel peckish, Coolum Beach abounds in cafes and restaurants with amazing food. If morning tea is your thing, the French patisserie Ma Boulange has the most divine pastries. Perhaps for lunch you feel like devouring the biggest, tastiest, gourmet burger you've ever had in your life? If you really don't feel like cooking and are going for the trifecta then indulge your senses at The Hot Chill Bean Thai Cafe. You won't be disappointed. If you are in the mood for staying in with a nice glass of wine, we've got you covered here too. Coles is just a short walk away and the kitchen is equipped with all of the modern conveniences you might need to cook up your own cuisine. Enjoy that wine on the porch, while your other half put their master grilling skills to the test on the BBQ. Perhaps by the time Sunday afternoon comes around you are so relaxed that even this is too much effort? My suggestion, pre-order some pizzas from Dominoes, grab a picnic rug, walk down to the beach collecting your pizzas on the way and sit on the grassy hill overlooking the beach. If you are really lucky a storm might be rolling around in the far hills behind you. It's not a beach holiday without the beach and the possibilities here are endless. Coolum love their fur babies so take yours for a walk and frolic in the waves. Grab the fully stocked buggy and some towels and make a day of it. Ride the waves, play some beach cricket or frisbee or build a sand castle with the kids. As the sun goes down on another beautiful day, night rolls in and everyone is exhausted, start a fire in the firepit and watch the bush turkeys scratch in the garden, if you are lucky you might get to meet our resident water dragon who likes to perch himself atop the wood pile. He's cute and harmless. When you are all beached out and in the mood for something different why not check out one of the many things to do nearby, play some barefoot bowls, jump and slide at the aquapark, have a hit of golf at the Coolum Palmer resort, land on the beach by parachute or stroll the local artisan markets. If you want to venture further afield and go for a drive the hinterland with its waterfalls and boutique shopping is a must. Or perhaps the walk through Noosa National Park stopping off at coves and rock pools along the way to cool off. At the end of the day, before you climb in between the fresh cotton sheets, have a soak in the tub or a nice hot shower and treat your body to the beautiful complimentary lotions and potions provided. As you lay down and reflect on the day that's been let the sounds of the ocean fill your ears and its breeze tickle your toes sending you off into a blissful sleep.
