ANZAC DAY Dawn Service at Villers Bretonneux.

It’s incredible to witness the strong bond between Australia and France, as many France at Leisure clients joined in honouring the brave heroes who fought in the Somme region in 1918.

They gathered at dawn, paying tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed so much.

It's moments like these that remind us of the enduring spirit of Anzac and the importance of keeping these memories alive.

Today, we fondly reminisce about the unforgettable memories from our recent drive along the Alsace Wine Road!
🍇🚗 A captivating drive through scenic vineyards, enchanting villages, and centuries-old wineries on the hillsides.

It was like stepping into a storybook, with charming villages like Kaysersberg, Eguisheim, Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé and Obernai unfolding before us.
Each visit to a vineyard along the way exposed us to delightful aromas emanating from the cellars. We even encountered locals in their traditional Alsatian costumes on the way to yet another wine celebration.

To all wine enthusiasts and lovers of everything French, we wholeheartedly recommend including the Alsace Wine Road in your itinerary, full of rich history and unique French and German heritage blends.

After a two-year hiatus, our wish to travel France and for the country to welcome back tourists has come true!
Our chartered ‘France 2023 Uniworld Rugby Cruise’ is nearly at capacity, with only five French Balcony Cabins remaining for a selection of lucky travellers.

The 2023 European Car Leasing program, launched three months ago, attracted over 200 requests from new and existing clients wanting the freedom to explore France and its neighbouring countries.

We also have surpassed our pre-COVID Small Group Tour reservations by 40%.

To cope with the high demand, we had to go abroad to source a new team member from France. We welcome Juliane in the coming weeks!

Our Uniworld France 2023 Cruise presentation welcomed a room full of cruisers and interested travellers for our France 2023 Rugby cruise.

Our surprise guest speaker Jim Tucker, former Chief Rugby writer at the Courier Mail who covered seven Rugby World Cups, gave his Rugby World Cup 2023 predictions and insight on why the Wallabies could create a few upsets in France.
He also emphasised how beneficial to Rugby and its community that the men's 2027 and women's 2029 World cup will be when hosted in Australia. We couldn’t agree more!

Remembering Our Heroes

Today - at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month - marks the moment the guns fell silent on the Western Front after the bloodshed of World War 1.

It's important to pause to remember those who sacrificed their lives in service for their country, those who returned home injured or ill, and those who bravely serve our country today.

'VIVE LE TOUR' - Another fantastic Tour de France finished this weekend on the Champs Élysées.
How fantastic the SBS Tour de France broadcast was in featuring the scenic landscape, chateaus, historic sites and most beautiful villages from the sky.
Again, the locals embraced the opportunity to showcase their participation in decorating fields and dressing up along the circuit.
