Attending the French Tourist Bureau trade show at the Sofitel Sydney last week was a great opportunity to reconnect with some of the top names in French tourism, including Monaco and Saint-Tropez Tourism. I also caught up with my dear friend Isabelle Legros, owner of the boutique Hotel Plaza Elysees in Paris, which we regularly recommend to our clients. These face-to-face meetings are still the best way to discover the latest trends and offerings, such as the recently opened Villa Cosy, a 5-star deluxe hotel and villa in Saint-Tropez. There is so much to look forward to in French travel in 2025, as France continues to be the most visited country in the world!

ANZAC DAY Dawn Service at Villers Bretonneux.

It’s incredible to witness the strong bond between Australia and France, as many France at Leisure clients joined in honouring the brave heroes who fought in the Somme region in 1918.

They gathered at dawn, paying tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed so much.

It's moments like these that remind us of the enduring spirit of Anzac and the importance of keeping these memories alive.
