Everyone loves seeing platypus. They are such elusive creatures, it's a real thrill when you do see them. We ride to the Platypus Viewing Platform in the Maleny Commons to seek them out on our Maleny Magic Tour. Sometimes they entertain us, and sometimes they elude us, but the trip through the rainforest and the Commons along the Obi Obi Creek is worth it anyway. Then, we head out to Mary Cairncross for coffee, absorbing the breathtaking view of the magnificent Glass House Mountains. What a morning!
