✈️ QLD - WE HAVE A PLAN! ✈️

As we know, all Australians are permitted to LEAVE Australia from 1 November 2021, and we now have some rules as to when we can return to our home state!

The way we read this is -
Once we hit the 80% (approx 17 Dec 2021) we will be permitted to return from overseas if we meet the criteria
1. Are Fully Vaccinated
2. Negative Covid test within previous 72 hours of arrival
3. Permitted to Home Quarantine

We are working to receive further information on exactly what point 3 entails - we will keep you updated!

Once we hit 90% no restrictions apply for fully vaccinated people. (We don't have an estimated date for this one yet!)

Happy Fri-YAY it is indeed!! While QLD is not at the front of the queue - the light is getting brighter!

Travel Daily reports -
Prime Minister Scott Morrison has confirmed that overseas travel will be able to resume for fully vaccinated travellers from next month in states where the 80% threshold has been reached.
In a move flagged in today’s edition of Travel Daily, the PM said he would "stick with the plan" to open borders once vaccination had reached safe levels in line with earlier National Cabinet Meeting discussions.
Morrison also confirmed that fully vaccinated permanent residents arriving in NSW will be able to home quarantine for a week instead of paying for costly hotel quarantine for a fortnight.

From 1am Saturday 19 June, anyone entering Queensland from another state or territory or New Zealand will need to make an online travel declaration. You do not need to complete the form if you are entering Queensland prior to 1am Saturday 19 June.

2021 brings some exciting changes as we begin the month of April with a new store location! We are taking advantage of the lull in our business due to COVID and are relocating to a great new space next to our favorite café!
