It’s only 20 mins away the mountains and waterfalls on route are just stunning. 🚁

So much water and the river is expected to peak at 10.8 metres on Saturday morning. This is at major flood level but below the Goondiwindi levy bank. The major flood level is expected to last for a prolonged period of time.

Incredible to see the extent of the flooding over today and heartbreaking to see so many inundated properties.

We flew Brad Johnson over his property to survey the floodwater and to check on his animals. Maree also checked on her cattle and sheep. Thankfully they were all safe and on high ground.
