As a celebrant since 2008 I have now over 14 years experience and have conducted over 400 weddings and I think I am one of the luckiest people in the world because I absolutely love being a celebrant. I have met such lovely couples who I have been able to help plan a wedding ceremony that is uniquely their own and on the day I get just as excited as the couple do about their wedding. I pride mysel

f on being innovative and able to provide personal ceremonies that aren't a copy of anyone else's because no two couples are the same. I have a mipro PA system that plays cd's or we can use your phone and so I can provide music at any location without the need for any power as my system is battery powered. I also wear a headset that allows everyone attending to hear every word of the ceremony no matter where we are located. Ask me to explain more about this. I am happy to travel anywhere to any location that you decide to be married at and always suggest that we have a rehearsal the night before so that on the day everything goes like clockwork and that means there is so much less stress. The minimum notice you must give before the date of your marriage is one month but because I like to write individual ceremonies I need to see you as soon as possible before the date. My preferred time is a Friday afternoon funeral but if I have availability I will help on another day.

Yesterday was an early start for a road trip to Robinvale to finally unite Robert and Aree as man and wife. They have been together for many years before deciding to take their relationship to the next level. A very special group of family and friends witnessed their promises to each other. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Menz. I have known them both for many years so this was very special.

Last Saturday on a day that was a little ordinary weather wise didn’t dampen the celebration of Nathan and Alyce in the backyard of their lovely home. A large crowd of family, friends and Ambos were there to help them celebrate well into the night. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Dunstone.

Wedding 1 last Friday afternoon saw Lance and Reygine promise to love one another forever before immediate family at the home of Mark and Hannah. Fabulous wedding to start the weekend off. Last Saturday Riley, Monique and little Brax officially became a family of Tuohey’s as Riley and Monique exchanged vows in their lovely garden. What a happy occasion for family and friends in attendance. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Tuohey.

Wedding number 2 was also on May 9th at Mensforth Park Tooleybuc. Lee and Tammy exchanged vows in a very quiet but very special ceremony with only 3 witnesses attending. Tammy’s mum was so excited as were the bride and groom. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Whitby.

Well May has been a very busy month with 6 weddings and the funeral of a very special lady. Most of the weddings were in camera but 2 I can share. On Thursday May 9th Sarah and Sean said their ‘I do’s’ in front of their family and friends at Mensforth Park in Tooleybuc. What a really happy wedding. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Tennant .
