Uptown Apartments – here to stay
We start this correspondence with our heartfelt thanks to the men and women on the frontline of this pandemic, selflessly doing their job in such trying times, no doubt deflecting any notion of being heroes. We are in your debt as a nation and a community, and we stand by you.
Many, if not most of us, are struggling to some degree with the restrictions we are experiencing in our communities and our economy. It is an ever-changing landscape, and we are in the unknown. Thankfully, Australia has a strong and reliable system of government, and the procedures that have been put in place seem to have steadied the ship for the time-being.
Nonetheless, there has been significant disruption, and we will most likely have to learn to live with a new state of ‘normal’ over the coming months and years.
At Uptown Apartments, we have built on our years of experience to adapt to these changes. We are grateful that our relationships with our owners and landlords, which have been built up over many years, have enabled us to negotiate a path through these times, building a bridge to the other side.
While many of our competitors have temporarily or permanently closed their doors, WE ARE HERE TO STAY.
We are not suggesting it has been or will be easy, and we will be feeling the sting of the mass cancellations we have experienced for some time. However, we will get through and we believe we will be better for it.
We are still finding some avenues of business that are enabling us to source income for our owners, albeit at heavily discounted rates.
Some people are wanting to shift to short-term arrangements rather than renewing long-term leases. Some people are wanting to self-isolate away from elder family members or housemates. Some people need an office away from home to maintain productivity whilst children are home from school. There are sources of current bookings, and if you need help in one of these areas please contact us.
If you have an investment property, especially if it is already furnished, and you are experiencing issues getting tenants, please get in touch with us to find out if we can help. We are not profiting at the moment - we are simply trying to cover costs and help others where we can. Our hope is that we can build stronger relationships that will come to full fruition once things improve.
When the crisis is over, and it will be over, we expect a large increase in domestic travel. People will want to visit loved ones interstate. Corporate meetings and relocations that were previously put on hold will need to be reorganised. People will want to get away from where they have been confined.
You, our valued customers, will want to travel.
And we will be here for you.

1 Day Adventures – Sydney.

Here's a little journey ideal for Sydney visitors who want to get going early and experience a whole bundle of Sydney adventure in a day.

We've put together some great ideas for our guests who want to really get the most out of staying with us in beautiful Sydney. So – get ready to roll on out on a great Sydney 1 day adventure.

1 Day Adventures

Get up and get out for coffee and breakfast at an exceptional cafe near your apartment ( check your Uptown Apartments Online Guide for the best options). Then head on over to Sydney Harbour Bridge and do the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb. You can easily combine the bridge climb with a sensational Buffet at the Sydney Tower. Sydney Tower Restaurant is a revolving restaurant giving you 360 degree views over Sydney as you dine. There is also a great 1 day Blue Mountains tour that includes a cruise along the Paramatta River that is loads of fun.

If you would like something a little less active – there is a great Hop on Hop Off Sydney and Bondi Big Bus Tour that guarantees that you will get to see all the great landmarks of Sydney. As there are potentially 34 stops that you can visit. The ticket lasts for 48 hours so you can do it over 2 days if you prefer, however it can be done in 1 day.

Everyone has heard of the world famous Taronga Park Zoo. This Sydney Harbour Ferry and Taronga Zoo adventure gets you there by ferry across the stunning Sydney Harbour and includes ferry ride and zoo entry. Then you could always finish off your day with a Sydney Harbour Dinner Cruise. The cruise lasts 2 hours is a 3 course a la carte dinner including local seafood.
