What a moving day!

We had the pleasure of joining over 5000 other people marching from Commonwealth Park to Parliament House in Canberra alongside “what were you wearing” to help call for change in the National Rally Against Violence.

32 - that is the number of women who have lost there lives in 2024 at the hands of men.

1 - that is the number of women I know who HAVENT been affected by physical or sexual abuse.

63% - the amount of sexual assaults not reported to police.

2 - the number of daughters I have - what does there future look like?

Something needs to change. The below 5 National demands are all things that the government can implement, especially the training for first responders - no wonder women don’t come forward when they are met with questions like “what were you wearing?”

I agree with Anthony Albenese on one thing - we need to work as a society to make changes.

To all the men I know - when your in a social environment or work and another man is talking s**t about a female or being predatory- call them out! Ask your sisters, partners, mothers how they have experienced the fear in there lives because I guarantee they have. We need men to be as angry as we are too make real change.

To everyone with a son, raise them to treat women like the goddesses they are, to everyone with a daughter empower them to realise there is NO excuse for violence EVER!

No more women should die at the hands of men!

This is a national emergency and people need to be outraged. 32 lives in 4 months, someone’s mother, sister, daughter - this is unacceptable!

Women should not have to live in fear anymore!
