Arriving or departing Sydney by Cruise Ship?.

Our tours have become very popular with the coming cruise season, with passengers that have a day to spare in Sydney in between embarking or disembarking their cruise ships.

We will happily collect you from your ship, tailor your tour and drop you back at your hotel/ship or even Sydney airport. What a great way to spend the day exploring the nature around Sydney, whilst knowing your luggage is travelling with you.

All of our tours online can be booked privately to accomodate this and many can be tailored to suit any accessibility requirements too.

We’ve been a little quiet on here lately I know. We are still very much here, just been a little busy of late. Our private tours are still running and we are looking forward to showing our steady stream of clients from the USA and other wonderful countries around over the next 6 months.. The pic of the tree is here to remind us to get outside. After 3 days in a travel trade show last week, it was just beautiful to get back outside with nature over the weekend 🥰

The White Bellied Sea Eagle. Such a graceful bird to watch glide over the ocean. They can reach upto 2 metres wingspan, and like to call turtles, snakes and fish breakfast. We all stopped for a while to watch this one.

Caroline Rutherford from Trip Slow, today absolutely enjoyed hosting some Cruise and Shore Ex Executives and Destination NSW, on a walk from Wildlife Retreat @ Taronga through Booraghee (Bradley’s Head).

Showcasing some of the stunning sights, history, nature and an immersive bushtucker experience with Adam from Bush to Bowl.

We are looking forward to attending the Cruise 101 workshop as part of the Australian Cruise Association Conference in Wollongong, later this week.

Very excited to be able to offer our tours of Sydney’s North Shore and Northern Beaches to cruise passengers very soon.

Barrenjoey Lighthouse at Palm Beach (aka Summer Bay), built in 1881, still standing in the original sandstone quarried on site. The most northern part of Sydney and worth the short but steep walk up. Explored as part of our Salty Air and Aboriginal Bush Tucker private tour.

I recently had a walker from Europe ask if we have Monkeys in Sydney. Well yes at Taronga Zoo, but we instantly knew she meant the cheeky Kookaburra’s that call Sydney and surrounds home. In the early hours of the morning any tourist can be forgiven for thinking they have woken up in the jungle.

Meet the Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, a regular on the Trip Slow trails in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. These birds can live up to 70 years, each with its own charming personality. This one is a regular in my garden, and we’ve named it Bob. Bob in particular, is a polite and patient guest who enjoys feeding from the bottle brush tree. A delightful encounter with nature's wonders!
