My first week in Costa Rica – an adventure like no other! 🌴✈️ After landing in San José with the A340-300, I started my road trip through the beautiful green jewel of Central America 🦋🌎. Unfortunately, a storm blocked the view of the famous Poás Volcano crater, but the plane spotting views at SJO were amazing – a true highlight for an aviator like me! ✈️👀

Next, I headed to the Pacific coast to Jacó, where breathtaking sunsets awaited me – pure magic. 🌅 And the tropical fruits here? Incredibly fresh and delicious! 🥭🍍

Up next is a special dream on my bucket list: spending the night in a retired Boeing 727! ✈️💫 Stay tuned for more…

(De) Meine erste Woche in Costa Rica – ein Abenteuer der Extraklasse!
Nachdem ich mit der A340-300 in San José gelandet bin, begann mein Roadtrip durch das wunderschöne grüne Juwel Mittelamerikas. Leider hat mir ein Sturm die Aussicht auf den berühmten Vulkankrater Poás verwehrt, aber dafür waren die Aussichten beim Planespotten am Flughafen SJO super – für einen Aviator wie mich ein Highlight!

Weiter ging es an die Pazifikküste nach Jacó, wo mich atemberaubende Sonnenuntergänge erwarteten – einfach magisch. Und die tropischen Früchte hier? Unglaublich frisch und lecker!

Als nächstes steht ein besonderer Traum auf meiner Bucketlist: Ich werde in einer ausrangierten Boeing 727 übernachten. Mehr dazu bald…

After many visits to Dubai, me and my brother finally made it to the Miracle Garden – and what a highlight! 🌸✈️ The flower-covered A380 which is the actual size is absolutely stunning. A must-see for all Aviators! Who would have thought that technology and nature could blend so perfectly? Can you guess of how many flowers the Airbus is made of 💐🌍

Leaving Berlin – with .coco.maltipoo by my side and an incredible sunset view above the clouds ✈️🌅 On our way to Munich, enjoying the scenery while Coco handles the flight like a true Aviator and frequent flyer, even if the travel bag isn’t exactly his favorite spot 😅 Luckily we continue with a semi private jet so he doesn’t need to be in his bag 👌🏼Relaxing in the lounge with a glass in hand and excitement building for a month full of adventures. Where we’re headed? I’ll reveal it tomorrow! ✨🤗
(De) Abschied von Berlin – mit Coco an meiner Seite und dem Sonnenuntergang im Rücken geht’s nach München ✈️🐾 Coco ist zwar schon ein echter Aviator und Vielflieger, aber seine Reisetasche ist nicht gerade sein Lieblingsplatz 😅 Morgen geht es mit einem Semi Privatjet weiter, da muss er zum Glück nicht in die Tasche. Entspannt in der Lounge den Moment genießen, bevor ein neuer Monat voller Abenteuer startet. Wo es hingeht, verrate ich euch morgen! ✨🤗

In those quiet moments of meditation and movement, I learned to release stress and find balance. 🧘‍♂️🌀 It’s amazing how a simple stretch can release so much tension, not only physically but mentally. Each pose is a reminder that life is all about balance, patience, and perseverance.

𝘈𝘯𝘻𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘦 Medical successfully renewed ✔️ Yearly I have to do a examination to check if I’m still fit to fly👨🏼‍✈️ I have no reason to be nervous because I‘m following a healthy diet and I exercise a lot 💪🏼 But without a renewed medical your pilot license is not valid. The examination has to take place with a doctor who is approved by the aviation authority and lasts about 1 hours 👨🏼‍⚕️ What’s examined? Eye vision, Urin sample analysis, blood test, lunge function, cardio gram, physiological questionnaire 😷 Stay healthy my Aviator!
(De) Medical erfolgreich erneuert. Jedes Jahr werde ich Untersuchung, um zu sehen, ob ich weiterhin fit genug fürs Fliegen bin. Ich habe keinen Grund nervös zu sein, da ich mich gesund ernähre und viel Sport treibe! Aber ohne eine Auffrischungsuntersuchung ist die Pilotenlizenz nicht gültig. Diese muss bei einem von der Luftfahrtbehörde zugelassenen Arzt stattfinden und dauert etwa 1 Stunde. Was wird untersucht? Unter anderem Seh test, Urinproben, Blutuntersuchung, Lungenfunktion, Kardiogramm, physiologischer Fragebogen! Bleib gesund mein Aviator!
