📍Katoomba Falls
This short walk starts at Katoomba Falls Park, on Cliff Drive. It's a very easy-to-reach waterfall, between Scenic World and Echo Point.
Its pathed track (with steps) and one of the easiest walks to a waterfall in the Blue Mountains National Park.
You can get up close to Katoomba Cascades (it's best to visit after some rain) and there are different lookouts around the track.
Katoomba Falls lookout (with views of the 3 Sisters) is 50m from the start of the track.
There is a reserve across the road from Katoomba Falls & Cascades, which means free parking! Unlike some of the other lookouts.

Te Onepoto / Taylors Mistake is a locality in New Zealand's South Island approx 30mins from Christchurch.
A local told us about this place otherwise we probably wouldn't have ventured there, because we hadn't heard of it.
The drive to get there incredible, one of the steepest roads we've ever been on & the place is a total hidden gem.
Hopefully we can get back there one day, need to fly the drone over this region, it was totally amazing.
