🚗 Have you ever thought about what it would be like to have nowhere safe to sleep? For thousands of women and children in Australia, homelessness happens faster than we realise. A rent increase, a job loss, or a family crisis can leave them with nowhere to turn. Right now, women and children are the fastest-growing group facing homelessness.

This year’s Car Boot Sleep Out falls in the same week as Mother’s Day. As we celebrate the strength of mothers everywhere, let’s also stand with those facing homelessness, uncertainty, and crisis.

Every night, thousands of women and children across Australia have nowhere safe to sleep. That’s why we’re coming together on May 13 💛 Whether you’ve done Car Boot Sleep Out before or this is your first time, we’re inviting you to be part of something that shifts perspectives and makes a real difference. Your participation and fundraising provide urgent support, safe housing pathways, and real assistance to those who need it most.

💡 It’s an eye-opening experience - one that sparks conversations, builds empathy, and reminds us of the power we have to create change.

🚙 Join us on May 13 at Marrickville Metro and take the challenge. Mums, families, teams, and individuals - everyone is welcome.

This year’s Sleep Out falls the same week as Mother’s Day. 🚗 For nearly a decade, we’ve come together to stand with those experiencing homelessness - and this year, we need you more than ever.

🚨 There are devastating impacts for women and children who experience homelessness in Australia. A sudden crisis – family and domestic violence, a job loss, or family breakdown, can leave mums and kids with nowhere to turn.

But you can be part of the solution. Your participation and fundraising provide urgent support, safe housing pathways, and real assistance to those who need it most. 💞

💡 This is an experience that will open your eyes, start conversations, and create change. It’s family-friendly, all ages are welcome, and together, we’ll reflect on the challenges faced by so many in our community.

On Thursday, 19th December, Newtown Neighbourhood Centre hosted our first-ever Christmas lunch, and it was a heartwarming success! Together, we shared a delicious meal, laughter, and the spirit of community with those who needed it most.
