FD Friday!! Better late than never!

The white one came in for rebuild after an unfortunate blow up. The owner gotnus to fit an twin plate clutch while ot was here.
Also fitting a custom E85 fuel system and upgrading the Apexi and installing a elite 1500 plug and play unit.
We cleaned the engine bay up a little and then had Hak fabrications fit an exhaust cut out valve and then finally off too Deja Vu Paint Protection Specialists for our package.
All thats left now is to run it in!

The blue one came in on a tow truck after sitting for over 5 years. We went over it and gave it a service and got it running, we then found a turbo seal issue so got out mates at Hi Spool Industries too reco the turbo. We then strapped her down and checked the tune on the dyno then again off too Deja Vu for a spruce and back on the streets cruising with the owner, finally enjoying his 7.

A fitting final post for the year, we have Santa's red sleigh ready to go!
He dropped it in for a rebuilt 12A mild port, a GT35 turbo setup, Microtech EFI LT10, a custom front mount, Hak fabrications exhaust, A hilux diff upgrade and FC 5 speed box set up. He wanted all this and retaining a/c for delivering presents to the hot parts of the world! An added bonus was having it fully engineered as well so the Grinch’s can’t defect him!

We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year!
We will be back on the 6th of January, if you need anything, catch you then!

This week we have the 808 in for a routine service and check over also a bit of a tickle on the webber while it was here!

Matt’s gorgeous R100 up from Canberra for a set of injectors and e85 tune. Now making some good numbers it will definitely be one too watch down there in the capital!

And lastly the RX7 in for the install of a blitz fmic kit, drained the petrol, added some corn juice and gave it a tune. We also fitted some bride seats with the bolt in brackets supplied by JUST J*P and then a quick detail from the boys at and back too the owner to enjoy!

Coming at ya this week here at VIS….
The Gemini is back in after run in kms for its full tune and to get ready for its engineering process.

The RX7 S2 in for new oil cooler lines as the factory ones were a bit sad and leaking everywhere.

BAY13B was in after its run in kms and went all out with an E85 conversion and then full tune to get the beat out of it.

Last week we had these 2 leave the fort. The Fd in for new twin plate clutch and a service and check up in preparation for upcoming formal duties.

The tidy RX3 in for a general going over and prep for an E85 conversion with an eflex sensor including changing all the existing lines too Ethanol ready Teflon. Once complete, it was strapped down and given its tune.

Another 2 happy and healthy rotors on the streets!

After doing some kms, she is back for an E85 conversion and some power!
A full health check over, pump and injector clean in preparation for the corn juice, then strapped to the dyno and pushing out a lazy 600 HP with plenty left in reserve! Wanting to try and save the S5 5 speed from 600 plus in front and the traction of the big hoops resisting at the back, we think 600 is enough!

Back in for some upgrades is MINTY!
Big shout out to Roni from Macarthur Autobody for the cracker body and paint taking out best paint at the first show the car attended!
She just copped a Jatco conversion and now running paddle shifting. We also swapped out the turbo for a new Garrett Turbochargers G40 and fitted a water/meth system to help keep temps down and help give the consistency needed to compete at roll racing and possibly some drag racing too!

Beautifully presented 1200 coupe in for a checkover before a run in tune for the self built little beast. Jamie had us build the block a few years ago and e has been chipping away at the bike, its all up and running now and time to enjoy the fruits of his labour!

Been pretty busy lately, no time to take photos!
The tidy Capella came in with a broken diff centre, we sourced a good centre and replaced it and the fluid then went over the car, brakes, bushes etc. Once happy and the car safe we gave it a health check and tune.

The FD came in for the usual turbo solenoid issues. We replaced the faulty solenoid as well as replacing all the broken and brittle vacum lines in the affected area and then confirmed on the dyno that everything is in working order.

Another pair happily thrashing around!

After a bit of a break from racing, our loyal customer and good friend Ranni decided its time too have some fun again and what a day of fun it was with his first full pass back in the hot seat being a PB!
We look foward too going deeper into the 8s next meeting!

Last week we sent off 2 of the smaller frame Mazdas we recently worked on…

The white 1300 came in for a N/A conversio. We supplied a motor, rebuilt and bridge ported it. Had Hak fabrications do the engine and box mounts as well as a full exhaust system. A few tweaks to the Weber on the dyno and away she goes for the run in period…

Good customer Kevey, the giant killer dropped off the chariot too crank it up a notch with a new billet block. Now we can wind it up some more and try to knock off some more of the top contenders at roll racing…

Up from Canberra this RX4 came in for a C4 conversion and also an E85 conversion. We previously built the motor for the previous owner of this car, so we knew what it could handle! It’s now making an easy 580 at the wheels through the S&S Transmissions auto, which is plenty too upset the streets of our fine capital!
After we finished up we sent it over to Deja Vu Paint Protection Specialists for a full paint correction session and also ceramic coating.

Its Friday FD specials

BAY13B is now out the door and off for run in after we rebuilt and refitted it’s new engine…

ABUZ4U came in for a full checkover. We found and fixed few electrical and also fuel issues. Once they were sorted we strapped her in for a dyno tune.

Finished off recently was this subtle yet snappy setup we recently completed on this clean FD Rx7 which came in as a completely stock vehicle and now leaving with a fresh setup consisting of:

🔹VIS 13B Bridgeport
🔹Garrett 35 frame turbocharger
🔹Hak fabrications low mount exhaust manifold
🔹Hak fabrications custom exhaust system and cooler piping
🔹Haltech elite 1500

She’ll be back for some more supporting mods as a new engine bay mounted intercooler alternative is in the making……. Stay tuned.
