Just a quick update, Wild Sets is still currently open. We are operating at a reduced capacity and observing safe social distancing practices.

As promised, here's a few snaps from the huge Asahi Beer Australia commercial we worked on a couple of months ago.

""The loose ‘story’ leads to a mysterious Japanese character who collects giant squid and owns a secret research facility dedicated to pruning the perfect Bonsai tree. The idea being that kind of perfectionist would favour precision-brewed Asahi."

There were a few detailed and occasionally tricky builds involved in this, but all that hard work paid off in the end. Those sets look incredible (if we don't say so ourselves ;) )

We can finally share these desks we've made for FOX Sports Australia and Fox Cricket.
For this job we built 3 identical desks and stage units, 8 lecturns, and 2 coffee tables that were shipped all over the country just in time for Fox's upcoming cricket broadcasts.
Keep an eye out for our handiwork next time you're watching the cricket at the pub!

We've been a bit quite on here lately, but that's only because we've been really busy building heaps of cool things! You'll see some of them soon enough!
In the meantime though, have you met our paw-some (sorry) crew? This is Chili, Chewy and Jessie. Molly was inside barking at nail guns when we took this.

Well this is a little bit crazy. It's always amazing seeing how much work goes into something like this.

The bulk of the builds for Alien: Covenant were done by a small army of talented carpenters, painters, sculptors and steelies from Sydney and beyond. Wild Sets played a very small part in the construction for Alien: Covenant (we provided CNC cutting and a few of the smaller set elements).

A couple months ago we had the pleasure of recreating a set from Thor: Ragnarok for YouTube & Marvel.

This was easily one of the biggest jobs we had all year, and with the help of some very good and talented friends of Wild Sets, we had the thing built, painted and installed in roughly 2 weeks.

Enjoy a beer in the sun, grab a foam ball and have a go at hitting the stumps down on the pontoon. And don't worry, there's someone down in the water with a kayak collecting the balls.
