Introducing another new family member 🥳 as Nunkeri has now joined Libby as a proud mother 💕

He is a little younger and a little shyer, but equally as cute as his fellow koala joey 🥰

Both little boys are spending more time out and about with their mums, so come and say hi these school holidays!

Saturday nights are for dancing! 💃🏻
Nunkeri, our resident Dancing Queen, is showing us her moves 👑💃🏻😂

Koalas are an arboreal species, so they are very well adapted for moving around in the trees. They have long and sharp claws, strong arms and legs, and even have 2 thumbs on each hand 😮👍🏻👍🏻 which all help make them excellent climbers!

They will rest in various (and sometimes humorous) positions that have us questioning how they could possibly be comfortable, sleeping for 16-20 hours a day!

Did you know that koalas have on average 30 teeth 😲 Fluff will be putting them to good use soon when he wakes up for his post nap meal! 🍃😋

Libby’s little joey is learning quickly from his mum, and getting a taste for the yummiest leaves! 😋🍃 That however, can prove to be a challenge when somebody already has dibs on the food 😂 #animals #koala #food #nature #life #baby #share

Andre our rescued Wedge-tailed eagle 🦅enjoying some time in the water! 💦 During his previous time in the wild, Andre unfortunately suffered an injury cause by human action 😭 He went into rehabilitative care 🏥 but following that he was left with a disability, a limited flying ability. This then meant he was deemed to be not fit for release back into the wild. Through Koala Park’s S.A.F.E (Save Animals from Extinction) fund, we were able to be able to provide a forever home for Andre at the Park! 🥰🎉 When you visit us, this not only helps to support looking after all our animals on a daily basis (with feeding, watering, veterinarian care, enclosure maintainance etc), it also allows us to be able to help to re-home animals in a similar situation to Andre’s! #eagle #animal #swimming #humanimpact #saveanimals #summer #birds
