Highlights of my trip to Sri Lanka—so many beautiful memories on my camera roll, it’s hard to choose! I’ve always loved taking photos, especially when I’m in a new place. A photo really does tell a thousand stories. Like the sweet old Sri Lankan lady weaving a basket from coconut husks, the woman in her village making naan bread with spices from her own garden, the doorman at the Galle Face Hotel in Colombo beaming in his traditional attire, or the farmer working his rice fields with his loyal cow.

Travel isn’t just about the sights—it’s about the people you meet along the way. Sri Lanka gave me a glimpse into how others live, and I’ve come back with a refreshed perspective. I’m so grateful for the time I spent in this incredible, diverse country.

My little tip to you if you are planning to visit- Go now!! Before it becomes another Bali or Phuket! ❤️ Dell

Day 2 in Rome The Vatican Again pre-booking a “Skip the Line” tour is highly recommended. I was told the queue today was a light one but it still took over an hour to gain entry. Also you get all the interesting facts of which they are many. Note that there are no pictures of Michelangelo’s famous work in the Sistine chapel as photography isn’t allowed
