As community and coffee are a big part of who we are, it only felt right to partner with The Bondi High for this issue, which celebrates a good cuppa through the lens of members of the community.

Focusing on all things coffee - from home brewing tips and a decadent chocolate coffee cake recipe to how coffee brings people together and why it plays such an important role in communities - we’re stoked for you to get your hands on it.

While chatting about this legend we thought we’d share some fun facts… like before discovering his talent as a barista, he almost become a doctor. Hugh’s also passionate about music and dogs, with an epic mobile dog grooming and training side hustle.

Not only that - around the cafe he’s known for his serious face, but deep down he’s as friendly as can be, slinging some seriously impressive latte art for his customers.
