The Australia Day Council of NSW has released its program for Harbourfest 2025, with Sydney’s sparkling harbour the place to be on January 26.

And our tall ship fleet will be at the centre of the action. Join us for the stirring 21-gun salute, the let your spirits soar with the aerial acrobatics of the Royal Australian Air Force Roulettes as they dance across the sky. The Ferrython, an Australia Day tradition, is a crowd favourite as Sydney's iconic ferry fleet races at double speed for line honours. Then, enjoy Maritime Mayhem, filled with stunts and tricks.

In the afternoon, we'll take part in the Tall Ships Race, while our passengers will also be in the midst of The Australia Day Regatta, the Australia Day Harbour Parade and the Working Harbour Display.

We are excited to be joining with Sessions and Sail for a week-long voyage aboard Søren Larsen, filled with music lessons, sessions and natural beauty. Sessions and Sail is famous for its Scottish musical sailing voyages and this will be its first Southern Hemisphere trip.

Sessions and Sail founder Barry Nisbet is a dear friend of Sydney Harbour Tall Ships, he sailed aboard Søren Larsen from 2000-2008 as second mate, mate and captain; while Sessions and Sail stalwart Carol Anderson sailed aboard her in 2005-2006 as cook and on-call fiddle player.

Søren Larsen will cruise from Campbell's Cove along the NSW coast from 25 February to 3 March 2025. The trip and at-sea workshops are open to everyone, from complete beginners to experienced musicians.

Here's a fantastic video featuring Southern Swan's starring role at the launch of Ubisoft Anz's new Skull and Bones game last week. We loved helping Yakusan create a swashbuckling pirate vibe for the event, which transformed an iconic venue in The Rocks into a mysterious and alluring pirate’s tavern for a night of pirate-themed fun and games. The adventure included interactive themed characters, foot stomping revelry on the dancefloor and robust sea shanties. As night fell, our beautiful tall ship's sails were illuminated for a surprise reveal.
