Representing Zignal Travels, Atoy and I were delighted to attend the Davao Region Tourism Product Presentation and B2B Matching Event. The presentations on the region’s tourism attractions, vibrant festivals, and diverse investment opportunities were outstanding.

The B2B session with the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) was a revelation, showcasing the vast tourism facilities and potential in the Philippines.

The event was organised by the Department of Tourism Philippines – Davao headed by Regional Director Ms Tanya Rabat-Tan and by the Philippine Department of Tourism-Sydney (Australia and New Zealand) headed by Director Pura Suanding-Molintas. It was also participated by Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific.

The event also provided a happy opportunity to meet up with industry colleagues. The giveaways from the Philippines are always eagerly anticipated. To top it all off, Atoy and I each won a stuffed Philippine Eagle from Davao, and I also won a return ticket to Manila courtesy of Cebu Pacific, with accommodation in Davao (yey!!!).
