To my international mates and those that follow us locally. Thankfully my daughter Chanel captured the moment when I crossed the finish line completing and finishing my second 100 kilometre event. Oh and listen to Ben the commentator 🤩 he said exactly how I was feeling. Now recovering 48 hours on and the body finally feels good again 🙏

What a day
I did promise so many that I would update my run on our Facebook site but I was so focused I just didn’t have time. In the early hours of Sunday morning I did it. I completed my second 100 kilometre (66 miles) Ultra-Trail Australia By UTMB
I was injured sure but nothing was going to stop me and to hold myself to account I wrote my predicted time in an envelope and carried it with me the entire way. I opened it on the finish line. I can tell you I took 4 hours 30 minutes off my time from last year. The Blue Mountains truly is a beautiful part of the world 💕🇦🇺🥂
When you book a private tour with our business we take you to places that most other tour groups don’t. We don’t follow the script, if we have to change our plans we can and we do like today. We have made a sneaky detour to see this stunning waterfall in all its magnificent glory.

In the recent rain event our great friend Shaun Whitehouse captured this footage of the water cascading over Wentworth Falls. All of this water makes its way into the catchment area which stores the drinking water for Sydney. When it rains the waterfalls come alive in the Blue Mountains 💕
Last night I had the honour of being invited to see ‘Nocturnal’ an incredible light show at Scenic World Blue Mountains I saw it through both adult and kids eyes and the kids loved it. Here’s what we did 👍 after being mesmerised by ‘Nocturnal’ we then took the ‘Skyway’ across the darkened valley where we got to see the spotlights lighting up the Three Sisters and Katoomba falls - simply stunning! We then did the 30-minute walk via Katoomba Cascades and the various lookouts where we got to see Katoomba Falls up nice and close. ‘Fairytale dreams really do come true’. A massive thanks to Helen who organised her group to visit Australia. What started out as a Blue Mountains experience question ended up with us organising their entire Sydney experience. It started with a Sydney private tour, then the Blue Mountains followed by a chef lead experience of the Hunter Valley wineries. Three magnificent days!
