Winner winner! We are so pleased to announce NewScape winning the AILA WA Award for Regional Achievement! This is a cross category award given in recognition of landscape architecture that has made a significant difference to improving the healthy communities and/or built and natural environments of regional Australia.

The end result is a credit to all those who supported the project, it wasn’t without challenges; COVID travel limitations, on-site modifications, flight cancellations, logistics and sea freight, weather delays, the red crab migration!

A huge thank you to our project team for all your amazing efforts, creativity, humour and dedication to achieve such a beautiful project!

🎉 Last night was truly a night to remember as we celebrated a century of excellence with Gosford Quarries - the brilliant minds behind the stunning sandstone that graces some of Sydney's most iconic landmarks! 🏛️🌟

NewScape Director's, Katie and John Newman, had the honour of joining this historic celebration, rubbing shoulders with some of the finest in our community, including the distinguished Lord Mayor Clover Moore AO and The Hon. Matt Kean. 🤝✨

John and Katie couldn't resist capturing a moment with Matt, who played a pivotal role in opening numerous walking tracks and national parks upgrades designs by NewScape Design during his tenure as Minister for Energy and Environment. 🌿🏞️

Here's to a century of timeless craftsmanship and a bright future ahead! 🥂🎂

Exciting news everyone! Our project, Evans Lookout, has been short listed for not just one, but two awards this year! 🎉🏆 ArchitectureAU Award for Social Impact and NSW AILA Award - Tourism

A fully DDA complaint track and lookout, the design approach ensured the site remains true to its historical, environmental, and cultural significance while also meeting modern accessibility standards.

We're thrilled to see the hard work and dedication of our project team recognised with these award nominations. It's a testament to the importance of accessibility and inclusion in today's natural landscape.

Just yesterday, NewScape directors Katie and John attended a landscape architecture sight inspection in Western Sydney. The vibrant colours and stunning scenery of the area left them in awe, as they carefully studied and understood the environment around them. As landscape architects, it's their privilege to witness the beauty that nature can create and they are excited to see how they can incorporate these natural elements into their future designs. 🌳🌺🌿

It’s great to see natural swimming areas like Lake Parramatta getting the funding required to make them safer and a more enjoyable place to swim.

NewScape Design were the lead consultants for the Lake Parramatta Swimming Area Concept Design with assistance from Consult Marine, Ecological Consultants Australia and MBMpl.

We’re looking forward to seeing this project come to life in 2023!

We are excited to announce our Minyon Falls Lookout and Picnic Area Project won the Regional Achievement Award at the AILA NSW Landscape Architecture Awards held in Sydney last week.

It was fantastic to finally catch up with colleagues face to face and receive recognition for our work in Northern NSW. Thanks to NSW National Parks and Wildlife Services for the opportunity to work on this amazing project and to ACOR Consultants Pty Ltd for their engineering input.
