From hairy cows to haggis and ceilidhs, PTM Helen Rolton experienced the finest of local culture, scenery and food when she attended the VisitScotland Travel Trade Conference in Aberdeen.

Her highlight was the ceilidh:

"When the ceilidh was announced at the Conference Dinner EVERY Scottish person in the room raced up to the dance floor. Ceilidh dancing is included in the curriculum in the Scottish edcuation system, and the Scots love to dance. I joined in, it was such a fun experience."

While on an educational trip in Nepal, I had to step in and manage an unexpected situation for a client. A flight delay at Pokhara Airport turned out to be a silver lining, giving me just enough time (and Wi-Fi!) to sort it all out 🙌

My amazing fellow Travel Managers pulled out their laptops too, so I wouldn’t feel like the only one working. We turned a travel hiccup into a brilliant moment that sums up what I love about this job: flexibility, community, and always being there when our clients need us.

This is the beauty of being a Personal Travel Manager. I can travel, learn, support my clients, and still feel totally backed by a team that gets it 🥰

A handful of our PTMs cruised through a CLIA Australasia-endorsed Cruise Training Day with brand experts from three of our preferred cruise partners: Oceania Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line 🚢

Rotating through three hands-on workshops meant there was plenty of opportunity to dive deep into the latest cruise tools, trends and insights. Extra thanks to NCL for providing a lunch that was as fabulous as the training!

Recently, six lucky PTMs spent an idyllic week falling head over heels for Sicily, exploring its charming towns, stunning coastlines and rich history, one delicious bite at a time. ☀️

As the pampered guests of Sicily Escape and Destination Italy, they enjoyed the very best the Mediterranean island has to offer: from pasta-making and wine-tasting to hidden gems and unforgettable sunsets. It was a sun-soaked, food-filled adventure they won’t soon forget...
