Have you ever seen a pygmy seahorse? If so, where about?

"Australian giant cuttlefish. With one of the most beautiful eyes in the sea. This gorgeous cuttle came right over my legs as I was sitting on the ocean floor.
The eyes are positioned on the sides of their heads, giving them a wide field of view. They are able to rotate their eyes to focus on objects directly in front of them when necessary, allowing for precise targeting while hunting or moving"

From mid-2025, Australian and New Zealand passport holders will face a new travel requirement when visiting Europe. The EU is introducing the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS), a new security measure aimed at enhancing border control for travellers entering the Schengen Area. This means that before embarking on any short-term trips to Europe, including diving adventures, visa-exempt travellers will need to apply for ETIAS authorisation.
The application process for ETIAS is straightforward, conducted online, and requires the payment of a small €7 fee. Travellers will need to provide personal details, and travel plans, and answer some basic security questions. Most applications will be processed and approved within minutes, but it is advised to apply well in advance of your trip to avoid any unexpected delays.
Once granted, the ETIAS authorisation will be valid for three years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first. This means that travellers can enjoy multiple trips to Europe without needing to reapply, provided their authorisation remains valid.
For divers planning their next European adventure, it's crucial to factor this new requirement into your travel plans. Dive Adventures recommends starting the ETIAS application process early and ensuring all travel documents are up to date. By doing so, you can focus on what truly matters: exploring Europe’s stunning underwater landscapes without any unnecessary hassle.
